Hi All,
I built my brand new B4.1 kit, after several tests the clutch has still the issue.
When I'm tight the nut on the shaft (as reported in the manual) and turning the spur gear doesn't turn freely, it is enough hard to turn.
If I remove the slipper pad or the slipper hub the trasmission is turning freely.
I never had this issue with my previous B4. The spur gear was moving freely.
Any suggestions? Do you have the same experience?
Thanks.

Be carefully to polish the spring and check the slipper pad too.
Now it's much better than before.

I just finished the assembly of my new FT T4.1 and thought I would share the build details.
I went with Cavalieri's Surf City Classic indoor high-bite clay setup minus the drilled 4th hold in the rear shock tower.
The only upgrades I made to the kit were:
- B-FAST RC Pro Drivers Kit
- RPM Heavy Duty 4-40 rod ends
For electronics I went with:
- LRP SXX TC Spec v2 ESC
- Tekin Redline 13.5T motor
- Savox SC-1268MG "Ultra Torque" Digital Steel Gear Servo (this is overkill but I had an extra one that I had bought for my 1/8 e-buggy so I figured what the heck)
- Futaba R614FF Rx for use with my 4PK (it's much smaller than the old R603s and R604s)
She looks pretty sweet. Now I just have to paint the body, glue up the JC Bar Codes, and stick on some chassis weights.

I have never had a problem with ae shocks leaking. I don't know why i hear so many people hate them? I do know that kyosho shocks are nice. I just never felt the need to change

A 6.5 is crazy fast for 2wd but what else have you run is the question? 1/10th, 1/8th, mod, stock, buggy, truck? I run an 8.5 which at one point I though would be nuts but I've since adjusted my go finger and use the extra power only when and where it's needed and at times could use more
. In the end a 10.5 might be a better place to start though.
