the new ones definitely perform better than the original ones. they are smoother and as Ray said they have less stiction than the old shocks.

practically they cant "blow out" like the old ones.

so better performance and better build and better design

now when will we see a big bore V3 come out...

Where did you order yours from? I've had mine on backorder from tower for a couple of months now, and their site still says late November on expected stock.

I'm so excited for this kit! I just picked up the B4.1 not too long ago and love it... The B44.1 will be my first 4 Wheeler so any tips or pitfalls you guys know of would be greatly appreciated!

Scott is a team driver, which is probably why he already has his.

We did receive a shipment of them the other day, I believe they are finishing packing them up, if they aren't done already. They will then be shipped to distributors who then ship them to hobby shops. I would say tower should have them late next week or early the week after, mostly because of the holiday.

Default B44 Rear hubs

What advantage do the .5 or 1 degree rear hubs add to the B44 or others. Thanks.

For anyone that may be looking my initial order of B44.1 kits will be here Friday or Monday at the leatest. I do have a few that aren't spoken for.

$339.99 plus actual shipping cost which is usually about $10-$15 in the United States.

Please email if you are interested [email protected]

I am looking to get a servo for the B44.1. How do these specs look for a servo? For a b44, the torque is what I am worried about. With a 7.4v lipo, that torque should increase, which should be more then enough, right?

Dimensions(mm): 40.3x20.2x37.2
Weight(g): 52.4
Speed(@4.8V sec/60): .09
Torque(@4.8V oz-in): 111.1
Speed(@6.0V sec/60): .07
Torque(@6.0V oz-in): 138.9
Gear: Titanium & Aluminum
Bearing: 2BB
Case: Aluminum
25 Tooth Spline

Saw one run wednesday night at my local track. I was very surprised the way it handles. The driver is sponsored and is always fast but it seemed much smoother than the b44. He used to seem twitchy and always on edge with the old one. The new one seemed to corner faster as well. Overall I didn't see much of a handling difference between the b44.1 and the durango. He also got caught up in a wreck with a durango and you can guess who was able to keep going without a broken part. If you thought it was the durango you would be wrong. I don't think that will be the case too often though but who knows. As much as people keep saying the durango never breaks, it has been breaking at my track as much as anything else.

Looking at the car its hard to figure out what was making it handle so much smoother than the old one. Before he got it out we didn't expect it to be much different but so far we were wrong.

I was wanting a durango but this car has me thinking. It looked really good.
