JR 9XXX's have proven to Not like lipo.

I was even running the lipo HV servos and they didnt like lipo..check for sale thread

I have just fitted one of these on steering.
Are you saying it won’t last on lipo.

I have heard a few horror stories with these servo's on the 8T. Good luck though.

As far as the 7940 throttle servos for speed..I would much rather run a 7955 or even 7950 at throttle for the strenghth and durability. Just peace of mind to know you have that much tourque at throttle.
With the problems guys have had with these 8T dieing throttle servo's , (mostly setup) just better to be safe than sorry on race day

I made that mistake when they came out I bought 4 of them and then 3 weeks later sold them all at 1/2 price. What a joke. But man they looked cool. I picked up a couple of hv ko's and they look just ad cool. We will see how they hold up. I did learn I just bought 2 instead of 6 to do all my cars. Now time to see how long they last on the track.

Man that really told me what the handling differences and main benefit of the V2 tower was.......

The main benefit is the extra camber mount position. It makes the truck rotate more like a buggy in the corners.

High cost does not necessarily mean high quality.

I was thinking of the Drake setup as a default and am glad it works well at hardcore since that is where I plan on taking the truck. I wanted to get out to the track this year but my kids are a bit too young and it didn't work out. Next year should be better. Its hard to play with the setup without a consistent surface to test on.

OUCH..the only thing that scares me about the KO's is that the JR HV's come with KO logos on the box. Im thinkin it might be the same servo differnt sticker.

They don't act like the are the same. The ko's are much quieter and much more precise. So far they don't seem like they are the same and their specs are different too. But I hear what you are saying that's why I just bought 2
