Its great that AE will not release it until they are happy with it. It will be worth the wait!

I think for someone like myself that was switching to Associated it is a little disappointing.

You were switching to Associated based solely on the kit release date?

If you want the TC6 because you think it's the best car for you, then a month isn't a big deal. If you want any car you can get your hands on because you have $400 burning a hole in your pocket, then what Associated does or doesn't do shouldn't matter a whole lot.

Guys, I agree with xtrememadness. If this is the car you want, then chill out. It'll get here. If you just have to have a car NOW, then brand really doesn't mean anything to you and just go buy whatever's on the shelf and be happy.

TCX was my first choice, AE has better part support at my LHS. So with both release dates being close I was going to wait.

+1

The only cars beating me in my current club championship is a Yokomo and a Xray T3 and only because they have a slightly faster pace then what I do and the guy with the Xray is working his motors hard.

Absolutely true
For the average driver a tc5r is fast enough...We can wait approximately 25 days for the new tc6

Delay's suck but everyone would be bashing AE if they released the car with an issue. Keyboard courage is great at times and also hurts. I picked the right season to run off road cause by the time winter is over the car should be out and ready for the asphalt season.

Foam is pretty much dead in the states and they said it was going to be one kit released. Unless things have changed I do see them releasing a foam version. I could be wrong though.
