I don't work at AE so I can't give you the answer your looking for.
But I can tell you they are getting close..........rumor is that a couple test builds are happening next week.

Kevin Herbert's TC6 looks very good at the Timezone Grand Prix, He and Paul L are just about dead even in terms of laps and times after 2 rounds. I say it will be worth the wait.

I'm betting the wait for the TC6 is going to be worth the wait But unlike the new Xray, the TC6 isn't going to be replaced with another new release next year.

Conversely thats a little scary, it means that if something goes wrong its back to the packing line for a correction.

I do hope it goes well for the release, AE have not had the best track record for fresh releases. However as the plastics are all old items, there is less of a chance for there to be molding issues which cause most delays.

Hahaha! You getting us wrong. We are in a TC wonderland right now, a lot of new cars are coming/came out. We were just saying that our patience is limited. Means we don't want to wait until new years for the TC6. My TC5 really deserves his retirement after three consecutive seasons.

I am a conservative guy and stick to AE for a long time now. If you look at the new cars, at least the T3 2011 and the TF-6 have a lot of innovative details that really seduce me to buy these. If these details really speed up the car is a different thing. With the "old" TC5 I am able follow or stay in front of most of the T3 or TCX guys in a race (my experience so far in the LRP-HPI-Challenge, 17,5t class). I now want a new car and I want the TC6. I hope the changes gain some tenth of a second and I really hope the Tamiya-like-dampers work great, hopefully better than the originals!
Just my 2 cent...

Looks like Keven did pretty well at Time zone raceway this weekend. He ran with Paul from start to finish.

I'm sure it'll be worth the wait....
But I just don't get AE ! They announced the tc6 what must be 4 or 5 months ago... They updated the website with all the specs ect about 6-8 weeks ago and still no confirmed release date.
Yet they announce a new b44.1 and it looks as if the shops will see them before the TC6 !
I'm also hearing rumours of a new rc8 before the end of nov !
It's not as if the tc6 is a totally new car - 60% of it must be from earlier cars.

I'm also surprised at the time it's taken to get the tc6 to the shops and consumers as Xray seem able to to do this in a fraction of the time.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant - it's not meant to sound like that.

Come on AE my moneys burning away in a certain modelshops till !

Xray does the majority of their product in house, AE is dealing with off shore production.
