I wouldn't worry too much about only having 8 weeks to get the car dialed.
Keven seems to have a great place to start.

LOL I gust ordered one from my LHS in hopes to have it before the Champs.
I ran my TC5 for the last time at the Halloween race and I defiantly need a new car now as I was way out gunned compared to current cars.

This is nothing. AE's first sedan, the TC3, was delayed 13 months before it was finally released. I am sure this will be faster though.

If they keep delaying I'll get a TCX.

I have driven a Photon. I like it a lot and see a ton of adjustability and potential with it. I dunno... im torn. If TC's didnt cost so damn much it wouldnt be an issue. You can be up to $600 in a TC easy just having a few spares and options in your box.

This is what im talkin about. Freekin frustrating. I basically have 8 weeks to practice before Snowbirds.
The TC6 looks like a good car however I will continue to run my Photon for one reason only and that is the great support I get from Micheal at T.O.P U.S.A. My parts are on on my door step in two days and he has even taken parts off his own Photon and sent it to me at no charge so I could make a big race.

I hope they have good reasons to delay the date, because people slowly getting angry about it. If they would have announced the 11th of november right from the start, everybody would be excited at this time. But saying it will come on 14th of october and then pushing the date not only frustrates us, but the shop owners, too. It's all about marketing...

For everybody who is looking for a car right now and has no such brand loyalty like us, it is not hard to find an equal alternative. I for myself had already some opportunities to get a TCX or T3'2011. In the middle of the year I was even thinking about getting a TF-6 or an 416X. I just cannot identify with these brands, so I keep on waiting and hoping the best...

I was going to get the TC6 to replace my TC4, but they kept pushing the release date back. So I got tired and bought the TRF 416X. Sorry, Accociated. I still love your products, but try to lock in your release dates, it's bad business when you don't.

If someone from Associated told me it was even going to be the end of November and it was definite then I would wait. I raced my TC5R again today but I am struggling against other manufacturers - my friend is an Associated team driver and he has his TC6 and it is fantastic looking but I cannot continue to struggle against other drivers that I should be beating :-(
