No idea on these servos but I can say that ko has taken care of me when I plugged in an expensive receiver backwards and popped it they replaced the receiver for $19 and that included shipping. So far ko has been great to me and their equipment is top notch.

One was brand new, the other was older but never serviced. They claim that the internals were damaged from drawing too much current and that's not their fault. They won't fix them either since they claim that it would cost over $200 to replace the motor, pot and amp/circuit board.

Frank, I'm sure they are top notch. Did you tell them that you plugged it in backwards?

Also, If the servo was drawing too many amps, the motor in the servo was at fault, or possibly the circuit board allowing too many amps to the motor. Definitely couldn't have been your fault unless your end points were set wrong. They should replace it. Call again for sure.

I agree. Who you talk to can make a huge difference.

End points were set-up right, no buzzing when at full lock and no binding in the steering linkages. A Hitec 7950 is doing the job right now with no hiccups.

My buddy had the same problem with sending in an HV. I've ran em for a wile now but just recently started using them with a lipo and both of em went out in like 2 months. Seems shitty you get worse warranty help for a servo that costs more $.

I had horizon pull that with me too they replaced the servo for menbut with a stern warning that I had damaged it with too much current. I ran it on lipo. Isn't that what they are designed for? I was talking with a local losi team driver and he said the jr's are hit and miss they either work great or are worthless right out of the box. That just sucks for such a pricy servo. They are the best looking servo out there
