your idle is proberty to high when your engine gets around 200 s i had the same problem my brakes wasnt working right ethier.

my lsn isnt to lean ethier but i could try a another rubber band around the carb.

As for the track, I don't know if I'm going to go to Rev or Milestone. I'm actually a bit closer to Milestone. Is Rev particularly better?
i would LOVE to go to revelation!!
that track is nice

So how'd you solve the issue? What's the problem?

Idle gap too wide. Low end is probably too rich. Set to 7mm gap.

You mean 0.7mm?
My idle gap is already at about that gap.

Wouldn't the low end being rich cause the idle to be low? Leaner the LSN the higher it idles?

yes the leaner the lsn the higher the idle i dont know how the lsn being rich whould make the idle higher inless the idle is open to much.

if your lsn is to rich and the idle is set to high then when you make a run with it the engine will rev up for a bit depending on how bad it is and then as it sits there and loads up the idle will drop. What you will need to do to get the idle right is, with the truck on the starter box or on the pit wall get the truck up to temp of coarse, then rev the engine up high enough its cleared out but dont over rev it, if the idle goes high for a few seconds then drops then you need to lean out the lsn, keep doing this one hour at a time until you get a steady idle make sure you dont get it to lean, the idle will be a little high now so slow the idle down to where it should be and your set.

if the engine is "RPM" stepping after the high speed run the LSN IS TOO RICH but wont need leaning much,

if the engine is holding a high consistent RPM normally hsn is just a tad lean,

you will find after a few minutes running if the lsn is too lean because at idle it will RPM step, as the rpms will rise (accorcording that your idle gap is around 1.2-.7mm open)

all these above things will depend on your linkage if you have it set up properly...

as someone said head to the track and ask someone for help.
ALOT of people get the top one wrong about the LSN and they are left without power.

All is running well. Trying to get out to the track, but don't know if it'll be open. It's still raining here. :/

How long does it take the track to recover from rain?
