Alpha S852. Runs with the best. 10 min run times. Half the price. Ive got almost 4 gallons on mine. Still runs like new........ Im still workin on Frank, hes got O.S. stuck in his head. Although I have to admit the .25 does rip. Frank you racin R/C pro this weekend or you waitin for Norcal.......
Unfortunately they aren't worth half the price.
I went from go tech, alpha, and now os speed
...If you want an agricultural, all out brute powered engine, then maybe go for the alpha or go tech but you WILL be slower around the track.

btw: I dont run Alpha and never have and never will...just saying.

Clockwork Racing modded B5. Powerful, smooth, and the best mileage and power under the sun, out of any engine I've owned or raced against...my last tank went over 16 minutes ( I'm a little rusty and did manage to crash alot, the track was dry and dusty, and I spun out alot, but drove it hard to see how runtimes would be) I consistently get 15 minutes tanks with this mill and CRE Fuel, when my tune is spot-on.
It'll idle all day long, and usually starts with a quick blip, and is a happy tuner.

i've been running Alphas and i can tell you im faster with them than OS engines (vspec) they do have tons of power but if you arent just pulling the trigger wide open the whole time, it is just fine, no wheel spin and still pulls OS engines
... dont get me wrong OS are great engines (i would like another) but saying that everyone will go faster with OS is far from the truth.

I know it sounds outrageous, but I did put up a 15 minute one tank video on Youtube last night..I had to cut it down to 15 from 16:20 ( when I shut the engine off, it still had a bit of fuel left in the tank ), to fit within Youtube's time limitations.
The track was dry and dusty, so we crashed and spun alot and drove like cornholes, but it was fun

Ryan is full throttle about 96% of the lap, not many of us can do that.

Still very impressive fuel mileage, but maybe not the 16:20 that you claim. Sitting at idle can't be counted as running at race pace. Like I said, still impressive, but maybe not over 16 minutes of real runtime.
