Lol, well then let me be the guy that tells you that last week at the practice session in Thailand in Kortz's car our stock B6 with a simple ceramic rear bearing had more bottom, mid and top end than the guys running the new OS Speeds. And this is at an event where everyone knows how to tune an engine properly and they can all drive correctly so no mish mash of boy racers and local track trash talkers. Plus I might add we were getting 10:38 seconds a tank run time with a stock 7mm reducer to boot. Roughly 15 to 20 sec more than what I was clocking others at. As they say talk is cheap, facts don't lie and if you want facts then you need to compare the performance of engines back to back on the same track with people that can drive just as fast. In a nutshell everyone that is probably going to make up the a-main at the worlds was there, so you can't get any better drivers to use to make a comparison with. As far as the OP's question about a comparison to Dynamite I cant say as I did not see one running there. There were some guys running alpha but they were so far off the pace that it was not possible to make a comparison as far as engine performance is concerned.

do you think this might be because there are more of them? I think the werks problems seem magnified due them being so popular..I remember a TON of people had bad things to say about v specs a couple years ago and I think that was due to there being more people running them. kind of like werks 10 guys on here have problems and 5000 others dont. I dont even think there are 10 people running the new dynamite....i am not posting this to be rude just a thought.

i plan on getting all new mills for 2011, started to look about 2 weeks ago! these kinda of threads make it really hard to decide!!!!!!!! just a bunch of salesman tryin to sell there engines here i feel!!!!! i would hae to be a newbie reading this stuff! they would go buy radio shack toys! im looking to buy 4 mills within the next 2 months and every thread i go to there are arguements over witch is better!!!! i havent found a TRUE awnser yet!?!?!?!?!?!? how dissapointing! all the drivers at the worlds are just handed motors, of course they are going to race them.............they are free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as for the people that have to actually pay for them they want to know how they are! not who runs them that get them free!!

I gotta say that these Werk's engines have been nearly bomb proof for us.... As everyone knows I have modified a pile of these engines, and to date we have not had one single mechanical failure other then a couple of idle needles...No broken rods, no collapsed pistons, no snapped cranks, no failed bearings....nothing.... And as anyone who has seen my modified Werk's run can attest we are pushing the extreme limits of power and RPM for a offroad engine....These engines are rock solid..... When I modify some of the other brands and start cranking up the power and RPM we start seeing mechanical weaknesses come to the surface..some engines have weak rods, others have weak pistons, some have brittle pistons....The Taiwanese engines definitely do not have the same mechanical limits as a Italian built engine like a Werk's,Nova,Picco....Now I know not everyone is into modded engines, but there is no denying the fact that these Werk's engines are over built and capable of handling far more power and RPM then come with stock..... The issues people are seeing are almost certainly user related errors....

I can't comment on Dynamite engines, never ran one. I can say that you CANNOT go wrong with a werks engine. It's not rocket science to tune a carb.
A Dynamite engine may run great no matter what the tune, but at the end of the day a bad tune is a bad tune.

I had an offer sort of like that once. A guy had been trying to get me to run his motors for a while but I just didn't believe what he was telling me. Finally I called him to order parts (car parts, not motors) for a big onroad race and he made me a deal. He would send me a motor free of charge to run it. If I didn't like it, I could send it back to him when I got home. If I did like it, send him a check (at a good discount). It was my best big race result to date and I sent him a check when I got home. Bought a bunch more great motors from him before he retired from the sport.

I have no worries mate ! i just am not into buying my reviews... my work stands for itself....if i had to pay for every good review there would no validity in anything anyone said about my work..... I have dyno results, video's and dozens of positive reviews from paying customers...if that is not enough then there is nothing more I can offer...

This is 100% correct. Slipping clutch, leaks, wrong plug, wrong pipe, and most of the time, wrong tune.
