well if you are sick of wear its not LOSI's fault it the fact that you are still driving a 1.0 that has many hours on it. all RC vehicles well eventully wear out meaning you will have to replace parts. its the name of the game. BTW did you get your 1.0 used?
#9589
na it only has about 2 gallons on it or so i did get the 1.0 t used i did have to rebuild the whole truck.
yea i know all drive train parts ware but not as quickly i do race on a pretty rough track but that is offroad. the 1.0 t is a good club racing truggy i can keep up and pass guys with 2.0 its all about the driver.

When you have one of the smothest free flowing drive trains on the market there is a trade off (quick wearing drive train)

The onlything I fine that wears quick is the front, center cvd on the center diff end. Lucky for me a have a racing buddy with a press and a boat load of cvd pins

You think the d8t is not going to have wear? Well maybe not, hard to wear out parts when you are always in the pits fixing your hing pin holders

There is always a price to pay

yea but, if they make one for the d8t a alum rear hidge pin holder that should prevent that yes the center cvd wear quickly my doesnt have to much play yet.
well from, the guys who have the d8t they said you dont need hardly any hop ups but than again there is some biasas people on here lol.

Truth is that TC5 doesn't own a 2.0 so he has no idea what he's talking about. You can't compare 1.0 parts wear to that of a 2.0. There were many changes made with plastic and metal compounds.

Have fun with parts wear on the HB truck. Better keep an eye on those drive shafts.

and also the capliers are suposed to go over the all 4 shoes right to measure it ?

They are a vehicle that requires a little attention, if you just run, run, and run it your gonna tear some stuff up. But from what I can see all you really have to watch are the pins, center cvd couplers, and cva couplers. Yes you may replace them more often than others, but hey, I'll pay that price not chase a setup from track to track.

23.4 is the exact same thing as 23.40. now lets say they measured 23.45 then you would have .05 of wear left befor 23.4. and a standard caliper streched across would be safice. just make sure you are centered.
