again yes, i ran 7/20/3 and 7/20/5 when i ran the 1.0. i tried 10 n the center, it was more aggressive so its going to depend on how you drive, when i got the 1.0t i was only driving for like 2 months so the 20 n center was easier to drive

ok i got you however my track does get pretty rough and rutty so whould the 20 in the center make it harder to drive ? also in the losi manuel it said it whould give you more punch ? yea im running 10 in the center it is aggrestive i whould like it to be smooter actually.

I'm sure this has happened to other guys, as it has happened a handfull of times in the past couple years, but 15 min into my main Sunday my ackerman screw backed out to where the screw hits the top plate when you turn and the truck looses almost all of the steering to one direction. So I had to drive another 15min this way. It also has me concerned about the strain it puts on my servo(7950) I know you can put a little lock tite in there, wich I have tried before and its still backs out. Any experiences/fixes with this would be great.

That didn't stop you 2nd place finish at Harvest. Maybe you should do the same thing to the other side. Jk. Nice job wish I could have been there. It screws into plastic so it needs a drop of ca glue loctite will make it back out easier in plastic.

You have to replace the nut on the under side of the ackerman. Lock tite will not help.

Haha Frank, Yeah we missed you...I have tried ca glue in the past when the hole has been stripped out , but this bellcrank was new, and the screws were tight before race. Just drives me crazy. I will try ca glue on the new bellcrank for next race.

Mack,Are you referring to the bellcrank plastic as a nut?

Steve after we talked I thought of a fix drill and tap a small 2-56 hole in the plastic to lock the ackerman screw in. And nice 2nd from bumping from last in the b main !! guess I'm going to have to step it up ...

When you are putting a screw into plastic, the best thing to keep the screw from coming loose, is CA glue on the threads, that will lock it in like loctite. If its come loose several times, its too late.

I was thinking where the tie rod connects into the servo arm. That's where I have seen them back out before.

Not very well, I cut out the back side of the hump pack lid, but that's the only way.

Man why not just use the battery that was intended and designed for the 8ight vehicles. The losi lipo. It's like racers trying to find a better plug for an os engine. The p3 was made for a vspec but guys try other plugs like crazy. The losi lipo fits without mosd and lasts a very long time.

Some guys don't have the money for the HV servos, but still get the weight of a lipo, without a regulator, plus long run time.
