Trinity EXTECH .21

One of my Evo4's is doing this as well, which is why I was considering using the Werks crank as well.. BUt you will have to run a Werks Rod.. And, I am not sure if the wrist pin is sized different from sirio to werks or not.. So just beaware that you might waste the $75 for a rod for nothing..
Btw the evo rod on the b5 crank was fine. still I will mess with it some more with the shims.Mad man at work

If it is making really good bottom end, then you mght just try to gear it up, and keep RPM's low.. Also try a Top end pipe if you have one, should help a bunch..

Carlos, the V-spec carbs works even better
and SPEED carbs works fantastic also... i could never get my stock version to have power down low and i tried the RB, V-spec and speed carb and the V-spec carb stayed on it till i sold it (kept the V-spec carb tho because the guy wanted the stock carb LOL)

Anyone know what rod I can use in an Extech .21? I saw someone ask about the Werks B7 con rod but never saw an answer. Will it work, or the B5/6 rods? Siro "Quatra Stroke" also looks similar. My ExTech still runs strong, but will need a squeeze in another couple gallons and I want to replace the rod when I do.

one of the best motors I have had, one tank can last me 10-12mins
good powerband and easy to tune
that is why I have 3 of them
does anyone know who still sells the extech
is the new sirio in amain the same and can use the same parts?

what temps do you run it at
I have mine a 200-210 , getting too hot makes it not tuned

Thanks MRC. I'd like to keep this thing running. Ditto what DRRC said, mine is a beast, it's been stored b/c I didn't need it for the tracks around here. Ran it a couple weeks ago for the first time in a year b/c one of the tracks grew LOL. With a 2013 in truggy it's an absolute beast, came off the track at about 185 deg and making tons of power. But, IMO it's SOP for Trinity/Team Epic that you can't get parts for the dang thing once you bought it. Have not been racing much so out of the loop, but looks like they're the Sirio distributor now? That's going to factor into my decision on a new mill fo' sho'.
