No need to drop head shim.If you run 30% nitro be careful I tried dropping shim and the engine predetonated.Almost ruined it got lucky I found it after 2 tanks.

Not all JL .21's are shimmed the same...some have 4 head shims and some have 3 head shims.....

Hi.

I've the new HPI F3,5 Pro engine (same as Ofna Force JL and Killer). The Novarossi venturies fits the carburator. I'll try a 6 mm very soon.

Cheers

Yes it maybe but I think our pricing is better on the market.

JL is bad to the bone, got 3 when they first came out and all still run great, 11 mins per tank all stock, tuned on the line

Hi KG

Old post, I know.

Yep, the 9901 are VERY good on my HPI/Force stock engine. So much better than Hong Nor 2047! Had to lean the HSN 1/3 and gained more than 1 minute extra runtime

Addition: Stock shim, OD77T plug, 20% nitro, 5 liter through her.

RE10 or JP3....I have tried about a dozen other pipes and none work as good....

Here is my 8 gallon old JL 21 on a JP3....the engine just howls on this pipe...tons of power across the entire RPM range....
