That's allright Mark, you show everyone on here what kind of person you are.

Ask 10 guy's that know there stuff about motors and ask them if they would remove shims on a Go running 30%. I'm betting all 10 would.

The problem with Rex is he wants to appear to have knowledge but ive picked up on so many glaring errors in his information thats only serving to confuse people. It appears to me that he needs some more time and experience before he can advise properly.

And if you want any engine Re Pinched you should use Ray A Racing , they are a professional re sizing company.

http://www.rayaracing.com/

We have been using him for at least 6 years and every single time we send someone in for service from them , they come back saying the pinch is better than new ! Ray re pinched a Go 25 i modified to use in a Speed Plane for our national titles . we came in 3rd place at 153 MPH . the owner of the plane said the pinch felt and worked so well he is getting all his engines done by them from now on!

We have used all types of plugs in the Go and MG engines for the last 6 years.

We personally have never had probs with Nova plugs. The team is using a combo of JX Ninja , RB , Nova , LRP , Go and ODonnell and they are all getting good results. Ive personally always liked the Turbo LRP 7 Med Cold for the GO and MG and when i used to race i used to use ODonell plugs and they have always been fantastic !

The truth is you must experiment with plugs , shims , fuels etc to get a good combination that works for you. Take it from me ive run quite a large successful race team with my partners at RCHZ and Model Motor Sports International. all the guys on the team get great results and they all tend to use a slightly different set up. They are so dedicated to squeezing the most out of their set up. A few of them run on their own track about 12 to 15 hours a WEEK ! man i get swamped with info from them.

The trick is to do 1 change at a time and learn slowly. Dont rush a good set up.

I would def. remove shims. GO engines have WAY to much head space...

So Massive, can I ask you why a turbo head makes more power than a Std?

i may have missed somthing, but there is no power difference. turbo plug may last alittle longer and tubo plugs cost more

Pm you for info... funny!! I think I haven't pm'ed you for atleast 6 months and it wasn't to ask you something. (Lying are we??) I was just asking about the head button to see if you know, I know the answer.

Inferno, there is a slight difference, not enough to make a difference in offroad.
