Sayang! I'd love to go but I'm in the US right now. Contact Elpaks, Askal, and Edongs through Cleng. I'm sure they'd love to join you guys.
Miker, you can look for Manong Rick at the Factory and ask him for bridge materials that we have.

my truggy is not running yet...i'm still waiting for the heavy coils to support the overweight chassis/body. the shocks right now is too weak, parang ako naka droop setup.

Lets call it Scale Truck Challenge I OR

We can crawl going up "The peak" in pairs. Next time pwdeng ibang naman ang magpartner. Question is how do choose partners?
Objective is both rigs should reach the peak.
Rqts?:
1. Each pair must bring a tow line
2. A makeshift bridge (logs or metal plates) to cross obstacles. Scale ropes to tie the logs together
3. Prepare also for a axle deep water crossing
Game Option next time pag meron na ang lahat.
1. Each rig should carry a spare tire - ok ba sa inyo? part of the game is you must replace a tire during the trail run. (I dont have a spare)
2. A working winch - During the event you are required to recover an overturned rig using your winch.

Guys got problem controlling your 3racing winch with a 2pos 3rd channel switch? If yes read on
What I did was I just soldered a diode in series with the winch motor either wire will work. Basically the diode prevents back flow of the current which essentially turn one of the direction OFF and the other ON. The diode has a polarity but since the winch will spool back at the end of the winch cable length so polarity doesn't matter you can solder it in series in any direction. Spool direction is just a matter of personal preference or if you prefer the cables spool in under real. You'll need to manually pull the hook to release more cable doh.
Now im not good in electronics I dont even know what are the specs of the diode I used but basically it has a max reverse voltage of 12V which is more than enough since I only run on 6V (BEC supplied) power. Its as big as 1/4 watt resistor. However I notice a slight power loss maybe because my diode measured some ON resistance (if that is what it is called) that probably drop the actual winch motor input voltage or maybe just because of the extra load on my light system. If you or anyone can recommend a better diode specs, Im be very much thank full. BTW although I have not encountered any problem so far do this at your own risk.

Greetings po.
Makiki-salingpusa po sana ako sa inyo. Currently working on a Tamiya F-350 highlift project na hopefully would be able to join your scale or trail runs someday. Some of you may have seen it (puti na highlift) nung 2nd day ng TAC in Megasmall na pakalat-kalat sa inspector's table/area. Inspector Simon was helping me get the necessary parts so I can link the steering to connect to the steering servo kaya ko dinala nun.
Anyway, are there any scalers dito sa southern Metro Manila? Any good locations for trail runs?

As far as I know, Its me, maddafunker & drr888 who are from the south area (paranaque).(pardon my ignorance kung may iba pang scaleheads from the south na di ko nabanggit) . As for trail spots, I still havent seen any within the same level as that of angono where we usually trail, baka sa Los Banos pero di ko pa na explore. Hanap tayo!
