Hey Factory48! It was nice meeting you last night. Start building your scale stable already.

Good to meet you also. I'm spending all my money on the CR-01 first. Then I'll probably buy an SCX10.

p.s. Guys, we can use this mailing list, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/manila...yguid=25774749
As member of this group we can more easily keep in touch with each other and announce scale events and competition rules, store our scale photos and events, etc

Hehe edited ko na... double post pala.

Guys scale rc is now making a big comeback or should we say there is an increasing popularity for this category of rc hobbyist.

Aside from Tamiya's ever popular CC01, hilift, CR01 series we now have Axial scale products and accessories to choose from.

Tamiya (Lils)

Axial (Pitshop and Crazycrawler)
Proline has just introduced Jeep scale bodies (Jeep jk )

We also have winch from 3racing (try Crazycralwers) to make our scale look better.

In the international scene we have started seeing variations in scale competitions, last year and this year we have the Top truck challenge while some are planning to do a King of Hammers style of competition. If we can group around 10 scalers we can start doing similar competitions here.

Some local development..
Action hobbies now has Tekin products - a good product for crawling and scalers alike
We now have indoor crawling areas (c/o Factory 48 & Crazy Crawler)

I hope this year we'll make scale rc a significant RC segment in the Philippines.

siggy: I love the anime chicks in your Spyder. What's underneath the hood?

JPRacing: Nice bug! Point and shoot? Can I have a taste of your Spaghetti ala Tundra? Keep the addiction growing chief!

Factory48: Good choice on the SCX10 chief. Take it easy on the CR-01 bling though.

msdelr: Thanks too Miker. We just have to have this thread. I know there are a lot of people who are into scale but don't have the venue to show their stuff. I think I'm good on Friday, pero baka trail lang. Gotta get a couple of kits dirty. Hehehe.

Here's my finished Tundra with MFC2 on demo mode 4. It's basically stock right now but I'm planning on a lift kit, 4 link suspension and some 2.2s on it. Sorry for the poor vid quality.

Thanks chief. Akala ko matatapos nung Sunday yung body? Hindi umabot?

To all scalers, here's a sample of how big it is in the States. They even have a Nats for it. Hope we can do this someday.
