Those are for the center driveshafts not the axles, but I do like them! I might have to pick up a set........

I like the looks of those. Been meaning to try them since they were released. However as mentioned those are only for the center shafts. There is still no way to use boots on the wheel shafts.

Buddy just got a set and while there nice and all, they are not friendly for doing maintenance, you essentially have to remove the pinion out put to remove the bone from the output itself for service which i feel isn't helping anything, And to add to that I feel the CVD condoms with boots stretched over is just dandy.

As for the grease on cvd discussion. I use bike chain lube on the wheel cvds. It's a wax lubricant that dries and leaves a protective film.

Hey guys, I took apart my rear diff and changed the fluid and now it seems very rough. I have checked the shims and it seems that the big gear is not meshing with the small gear.

What should I do?

Make sure the inserts are installed right. And seated all the way in the case.

Still have the same problem. The gear mesh between the big gear and small gear still isn't right.

If you just took it apart and put it back together, without adding o subtracting anything and in the same order, then most probably it's just high and low spots on the ring and pinion gears, should wear in again.....

Did you put a new gasket in the diff case, i change my gaskets every other turnaround on the diff's because it acts also like a spacer the more you use an old gasket the closer the gears come together from the gasket beaning compressed which will make it turn ruff just a thought.

Has anyone run buggy shock shafts on their truggy? I ordered the buggy shafts rather than the truggy shafts and they are noticeably shorter.

so why not order the right parts and be done with it ? Rear buggy uses the same as the front's on truggy, so in reality you only need the proper rear shafts.

Think about the question you just asked. If they're noticeably shorter do you really think they will work?

As Integra said, buggy rears are truggy fronts. You need the long ones for the back.
