Yeah that's what I would do. Check everything really well. Check the pin hole and bearing races in your hubs. It takes quite a bit to wear the aluminum ones out, but it can happen. The braces and engine mount should be fine for sure.

I feel the same way. I've swapped out an old worn out linkage and noticed no difference in the way the truck drives.

Still using 7/10/2 here. Mine is fine as long as I don't get throttle happy coming off a corner but that stuff will happen sometimes and I've never had a car that didn't have that issue.

Nothing will work on the stock losi axles. There's nothing for the boot to grab onto. Just run them dry and keep them as clean as possible. Going on 10+ months of racing on the same set of CVD's here. The only one that's been replaced is the front center shaft. Others are about due for replacing but have lasted remarkably well. No boots and no grease.

i dont know about running them dry i use a little bit of red mobil grease and the mud guards do help than if i dint have them on yikes.

yea i was just thinking that the axle would have to have something for it to grab on to.

My opinion... Grease only attracts dirt if you don't have some type of boot to keep it clean. Dirt is what wears CVD's out. Keep them clean(grease free in this case) and they will live longer.

That's just my opinion and I could be wrong, but I'm usually not.

They were both decent impacts. Both times I got a little out of shape on the approach to a fairly large triple, which resulted in my truggy coming down hard on the front right wheel. Something was going to give, I was just surprised the M2C pins snapped instead of bending like the Losi pins. I've crashed much harder on the losi pins and never had one snap. Things like catching a hole in the wall / spike in the pipe at WOT... lol

somewhat justified then i guess, Ive pulled out bend M2C and losi pins in the past and feel they are Very much on par with each other as far as durability goes.

I use some lube that I got from boca bearing. It bonds to the metal and dries. Seems ok but I can't say I really notice a huge difference.

Not sure if this correct but after each race to keep my CVD clean I uses a spray non contact lube shoot in cup to clear out all dust. It works very well it keeps its clean and lubed with no attraction.
