hey guys, built my b4.1 yesterday and went together really well.
I have built a bunch of B4's so I did not use the manual but my mate who built his today noticed that there was a new 16x10mm outdrive bearing which is different to the B4 which was imperial
this must mean that the diff outdrives are also a running change. did anyone else notice this change? it means I have a bunch of parts that are no good for B4.1 now.

R/C Evil Empire recently caught up with Team Associaed/J Concepts driver Tanner Denny.
At 15 years old, Tanner is one of the up and coming racers in the off-road circuit. Tanner took time out to talk to us about his racing, goals, practice, and more!

The change make for a big improvement with how free the transmission spins...
Major improvement ...

I just got my T4.1 today and was wondering how long of a build it is? I won't be able to touch it until next week and just want to know if I should cut out some overtime at work and be able to get it together in one night?

I like to take my time...building a kit is therapeutic (no noise from the kids, wife, etc). I don't even look at the clock, but I can tell you I spend a solid day building the kit and another day painting/trimming/detailing the body.
So, prob between 6-8 hours if it's one of your first kits.
#341
Yeah probably does. I've seen it on the SC10 (which is pretty much the same chassis as a B4, sans increased wheelbase).

Now for a question. Is the plastic used on the new kits similar to the standard plastic used in older non carbon kits?

Ah, gotcha! Yeah, I run the RS as well...fit's literally anywhere. Even on top of the servo (I've seen it).
#345
I think the plastic is different; a lot of people have commented on how their existing setups did not produce the same results on the track.
