Yep, what happend was I went to one track and it was humid and wet and cooler temps, so they tuned it for that.....

So that other track was the total opposite... 100 degrees dry, hot... I should have just went back to factory settings.......... Be careful in who you allow to tune your stuff...

hello
I have the center differential locked, but the rear differential scratching me.
I put LOSA4454, but I still scratch, the pinion and crown are in perfect condition but still still scratching
Anyone with the same problem?
Has anyone tried to put another pinion another brand?
I think the problem the poor design of the pinion, the teeth are not properly, are too rounded rather than conical
I need help, I'm a little tired of my rear differential Losi
thanks

Yes you are right!

So, having less droop in the front will cause you to have less traction as the front of the chassis is raising up and rear is squatting. Also, buy having less front droop, when you are off power or on the brakes it will dive down less in the front and you might lose some off power steering.

If you want the front to bite more on power you could change to less rear droop. What that does is stops the rear from squatting so much. In return, the front does not lift as much and you get more on power steering.

Hope that makes sense.
you are backwards less front droop will allow more on-power steering less front droop will keep more weight on the front under acceleration

Jammincrazy :

how much turn in do you get with the 12 degree caster blocks? Im thinking of getting them just not sure if they are worth 80 bucks. is it night and day difference?

I don't run 12's I run the 10 degree inclined spindles and carriers. You won't get more turn in with the 12's. Actually less. More caster = less turn in off power and more mid corner/exit steering on power. Less caster = more turn in off power, less mid corner and exit on power.

With the inclined spindles you will lose a bit of steering throw. You can mod the spindles and get the throw back. I personally run them stock with the short ackerman plate and I've got plenty of steering.

it was just a typo i ment 10. I like my truck as is, i have great off power steering and good on power would like just a tad more but i still turn on a dime. i think it could just be my driveline. ill replace that first i guess before trying the 10 caster/spindle. it sounds like its not what im looking for anyway thanks

I would say replace part with the actual LOSI part. But regardless gears will get "scratched"

With the exception of bearings, I use all LOSI parts.

If I had to, I WOULD use Kingheadz
