So that other track was the total opposite... 100 degrees dry, hot... I should have just went back to factory settings.......... Be careful in who you allow to tune your stuff...

hello
I have the center differential locked, but the rear differential scratching me.
I put LOSA4454, but I still scratch, the pinion and crown are in perfect condition but still still scratching
Anyone with the same problem?
Has anyone tried to put another pinion another brand?
I think the problem the poor design of the pinion, the teeth are not properly, are too rounded rather than conical
I need help, I'm a little tired of my rear differential Losi
thanks

correct me if I'm wrong, on accel wieght is going to transfer to the rear (squat down) and ft end rise up, wouldn't running less droop in the ft make more sence since it would limit the amount it would rise, therefore maintaining "good" steering geometry as in being offpower?

No sir, it would do the opposite. If you have less front droop you would lose more on power steering and some off power steering. When the weight transfers on accel rear squats and front lifts. So, having less droop in the front will cause you to have less traction as the front of the chassis is raising up and rear is squatting. Also, buy having less front droop, when you are off power or on the brakes it will dive down less in the front and you might lose some off power steering.
If you want the front to bite more on power you could change to less rear droop. What that does is stops the rear from squatting so much. In return, the front does not lift as much and you get more on power steering.
Hope that makes sense.

Sein, I had this droop thing rolling around in my head all day,and what I said sounded correct, so just now I checked the Hudy Off road & truggy set up book, and yeah I was correct, I saw Jammin57 state it, someone posted the link for the Hudy book on this thread about 2 weeks ago maybe 3, I'll look for it and post it again, it cleared up a buch of stuff for me as I went thru it,check it out. you can probably find it in the Hudy website also.

With the inclined spindles you will lose a bit of steering throw. You can mod the spindles and get the throw back. I personally run them stock with the short ackerman plate and I've got plenty of steering.

I don't run 12's I run the 10 degree inclined spindles and carriers. You won't get more turn in with the 12's. Actually less. More caster = less turn in off power and more mid corner/exit steering on power. Less caster = more turn in off power, less mid corner and exit on power.

Scratching ? ? ? why have you locked the center diff ?

With the exception of bearings, I use all LOSI parts.
If I had to, I WOULD use Kingheadz
