You'll like the stock 5port from GO, That's what im currently running with the stock GO pipe and has crazy power which I love. You'll be happy with the GO engine. If you decide to get one make sure you take your time on breaking it in as its super tight!
no your looking @ style and looks!,because if you were looking for performance you would run the go 5port for the price compared to the gx5r which is probally just a tad faster maybe, but mostly just a new head and carb throttle slide!

gx7 has no bottom end imo. I ran the 7 port for awhiel cause i got one free and it isnt like the rest of my engines. I say get the gx5r.
I have a local customer running an X-Ray buggy. He's running the GX7R with the 2072 pipe and has all the bottom end he needs. Our local track is a relatively fast, open track with jumps right after turns. He never fails to clear the doubles and triples with the short run-ups. Gearing, clutching, tuning, and even chassis set-up have MAJOR influences on how a vehicle pulls coming out of corners.
The GX7R has plenty of bottom end for a buggy. I haven't seen an engine that can out-rev it on top end.
