Hi people.
Racing season is over here in Greece and i am checking every part of my truck for damaged parts. One thing i noticed is that the arms have warped a little bit. I had to look very closely to notice it, but it's there. Should i replace them? How often do you replace the arms on your trucks?

Yeap no breakings on arms either, after 5 months, 8 races and lots of training sessions.
By the way as you mentioned breakings i shall list what i have broken just in case anyone asks the classical "What spares do i need"
1)All 4 factory shock standoffs (probably bad batch)
2)Stock steering servo arm insert (buy that alu one)
3)Wing mount (2x landing tail down)
4)Rear shock tower (landing tail down)
5)Rear diff case (breaking the rear tower collateral damage)
6)Bent front shock shaft (slightly but useless)
Except 1,2 the rest is bad driving and landing jumps. This truck is really sturdy.

you need to use a bell designed for the losi clutch, if i remember right they are longer then most

I tore up more parts on the truck this weekend than I have in the time I've owned it. Rough weekend parts wise.
Ok here goes...
-Throttle linkage
-Entire clutch setup(flywheel, shoes, bell, bearings, screw/shims)
-Spur gear
-Fuel tank(x2)
-Steering servo horn(aluminum)
Now a little explanation...
The throttle linkage came from getting T-boned by a buggy in practice. Turned the throttle linkage rod into a pretzel.
The clutch, Spur and one fuel tank came from the CB screw coming out. First time I've had that happen, but I must say it was amusing seeing a trail of sparks when it happened.

Second fuel tank was due to the first one having a leak right out of the bag.
Servo horn got tweaked somehow and started to crack through.
Add to it the rubber hungry track surface and you've got one unexpectedly expensive RC weekend.

Want me to go through the list of parts I replaced during this weekend's race?

Oh well...
The second tank I replaced this weekend(really the third of the weekend) was leaky right out of the bag.

Yea, I replace tanks all the time too. Funny thing is I replaced it right before this race. Then the CB screw came out and basically destroyed everything. One little screw and you're replacing $$$$ worth of parts.

ive had one cb screw come loose but that was a long time ago. that screw is tricky, to much torque strips the screw, to little and it loosenes. Ive never had a tank leak out of the bag that sucks. if my engine starts acting funny at all i change it just to make sure my fuel line is good and the tank is sealed.
I always use a little dab of red stick loctight on it, and I don't remember if I did that time or not. It took out quite a list of parts, but luckily only five minutes of racing.

That was a first for me. Luckily it was only in a qualifier. I had done maintenance on the clutch pretty late the night before so I think I may have just had a temporary brain malfunction when installing that screw.

i had the clutch screw come, loose when i ran buggy last year and i did notice that the clutch wasnt working right at all lol.
the clutch shoes were no, good at all the two plastic shoes were done ! and the fuel tank had a big hole ingraved into the tank.
