Some tracks it don't matter what the tread pattern it is, as long as it's soft you got traction.

There is a big difference between driving smoothly and taking it slow. You can drive smoothly and be the fastest car on the track. Actually that is usually the case. Even if it doesn't look like you're going fast. You're under control and hitting your line every lap vs. pulling the trigger in everywhere and blowing every corner. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

So driving slow, I guess your tires last a whole season?

Na they don't. They last a long time. I don't drive slow. I drive smooth. And I certainly don't do it to make my tires last a long time. I just have a very smooth consistent driving style. I don't pull on it much.

i know it is probably said in here 10 times... but i am thinking about swapping to Losi truggy from teh Mugen...

this guy wants to trade me a 2.0 RTR roller, with the losi starter box and 454 engine for my mugen 6T...

what are the differences from the race roller to the RTR roller?

You really want a race roller. The RTR isn't bad, but it's not the same as the race roller quality wise or performance wise.

I say get a Race Roller, the RTR is decent but it is a step down from the RR. Why don't you just stock pile the parts that fail the most for the Mugen?

Roller, period! Cost too much to convert. Both are great truggies, but you would be trading down to the rtr. The engine isn't that great and the starterbox, well it blows.
