Hi all,
Will we be able to practice on the morning or midday time on the 17th, or even the day/night before.
I see on the information that practice is for about an hour on the eve of the 17th.

Practice is as per the rules and regs, the circuit will be a virgin circuit for the event, and no local drivers will have even been near the circuit for 5 weeks previous, due to an away grass track event and the circuit being refurbished for the AINC10.

I'm in the process of arranging some tyres for this event, and am wondering if anyone can help me? What Make, Compound and Tread Pattern people have had success with in the past. Proline or AKA prefered.

I'm a privateer, so looking to run something that will wear well, and perform even better!

Thanks in advance for help.

Hi Tom
Im very biased to Proline one because they are the best, two they are in support of the event!!!! , I have a lot of success with crimefighter and caliber in M2 and XTR, but it all depends on whats happens with the surface between now and then, at the moment cf in M3 is working nicely but the surface will be different for the ainc10. I think Prolines new tyre, will be awesome here as well. A little sheepishly I say I also tried a set of $10.00 Venom 45's in medium last night and found very little difference in lap times, and Tim Nicol won the night on soft Venom 45's!!!!

The surface will be a bit aggressive on tyre wear but has some outrageous grip.

did anyone foresee the clash with the QLD nitro off road state champs on the same weekend?

only reason being, when its in brisbane, its normally one of the biggest events on the calender...
