yup i grease the box everytime i take it apart, mine wasnt bad but there was rust on the r+p

lol, i hate using that compressor because of that reason, we started hooking our compressor up on thursday

A piece of velcro works wonders and then it can come in and out too.

Here is what I did...
Shoe Goo a piece of 1/4 plexi and used velcro to hold the battery to it. You have turn the black piece in the middle 180 degrees, that will give you a ledge to mount the plexi to.

Slightly off topic, but can I buy shoe goo at Target or Walmart? And if so, where will I find it in the store. I want to try this stuff out, I just don't know where to get it!

Yeah, you should be able to get it at either store. Look in there "tool/hardware" isle. I do believe I bought mine at Menards. I have been using it in r/c for years. I used to use it in 12th scale to glue the steering servo down, the stuff really works.

+1 some nice high strength velcro goes a long way!

On an earlier topic about the grease, I use the mobil 1 synthetic as well. It's great grease, and you can pick up a huge tub for about $6 from an auto parts store.

So do people think that the new rebate on the 8ight-T really means a 3.0 is going to be released soon? Some folks were speculating that.

If that is the case, that means the are updating every one of there race rollers, since even their rock crawling race roller has a rebate.

I was planning on buying an 8ight-T using this program, but if people think a replacement is coming out soon I might re-think that.

I really don't think there is any connection, but what do you guys think?

That's what I figured, but I thought I'd check. I wish Gary Kyes told me about this rebate program 3 weeks ago when I was buying my 8ight buggy when I was talking to him.

I just don't want to buy the Truggy next and then find out both are being replaced a month later. This will probably happen with my luck.
