same screws that hold the end bell on a brushed motor. that is what I use to hold med size servo on my 951

I'm curious if I can get away with not removing the module/antenna when storing the radio. This is my first KO so I have no real experience, but I wonder what the constant removal and install will do to the pins over time. I would like to find a case that will fit the radio with the module attached.

Any ideas?

I dont think you will have any issue's if you dont remove the module everytime you put it away. Ive been taking mine out of the radio before putting in bag and the plastic and pins have had no issue's. When leaving the module in it just gets in the way

I'll start removing it if it becomes a hassle. What would be a good case for it?

It makes no sense to me that they would keep building a radio that has the antenna coming out of the module on the back of the radio. So basically it's just the new Helios with a couple added features and the same ol' module on the back. If you're going to give it a completely new model name and make it your new top of the line model, why not design it so the antenna is coming out of the top of the radio where it belongs? I love KO products and I love my Helios and I'm not buying any new radio until KO shows me they've put some real thought into producing a new top-of-the-line radio. Not just a re-badged radio with some extra features.

On the contrary. I think it was great that they design the radio to except the original FM module. I still run Fm. This allows me to run 2.4ghz or FM. Also those who bought the Older module 2.4ghz they too can run that system on this radio. Oh yea what about the Mini Z guys; they have a different module also that can be used with this radio. I think KO design the most versitle radio that is backwards compatable with older KO systems.

try the speedmind case. I run a helios with the 2.4 module. I do not like to remove it very often. biggest problem is the pins on the radio. you get it wrong and you break the solder joints loose on teh board. the speedmind case, you have to mod it a little for the antenna of the module. but other then that it fits with the drop wheel also. i have the wheel all the way out and it still fits the case

They already showed you they are a TOP OF THE LINE COMPANY thats why you bought the Helios. The antenna on the module is only a minor thing i dont see any other 2.4 modules that dont have the antenna on them. The new radio may be in the same case design because its the most balanced radio on the market. Yeah they added more features to the radio but the GUTTS of the unit are different and thats where the secret is. If you have a chance to use the new Eurus then you will see why everyone wants the NEW radio in the OLD case!!

Yeah for the wheel all the way out. Same with the Eurus which fits the Speedmind case just fine. Eurus antenna is just a tad longer than the Spektrum Pro I had in my Helios.

Are there any Sanwa/Airtronics FHSS 3 modules available for the Eurus or is it KO only?

Reason I ask is because I already have Sanwa FHSS 3 receivers but liking the looks, features and options of the Eurus.
