Why would KO name it “Eurus”? As in the “unlucky east wind” which brings rain. Isn't it taboo to name anything that's associated to bad luck in any kind of motor sports?

And for those of you wondering 'Eurus'??? - Ko delightfully tell us, "Eurus is the name of a God in Greek mythology and was in charge of the East Wind." - Eurus aka Euros.

I love the size of the receiver on the KO. Why can't Futaba and Sanwa come equipped with receivers this size. Makes me think they are aimed more at the 1/8 scale market.

Some of the cars coming onto the 1/10 buggy market are really thin in with. Schumacher CAT SX & Team Durango DEX401. There is little space inside for chunky electronics. The KO rec looks perfect alternative to the Spektrum micro.

If you look carefully the KO Rx's servo pins are stacked on top of the main Rx case so it makes the whole thing look smaller when in fact it's taller eg double decker. Basically it traded a larger vertical footprint for a smaller horizontal footprint.

Now if you look at this Sawnwa RX notice the servo plug pins are to the side and not stacked on top like the KO so yes the horizontal footprint is bigger but it's lower profile compared to the KO. It's really just trading one for another.

Good point, although I am sure I would have a lot more trouble fitting the Sanwa in the Durango over the KO. The vertical addition, is kind of negated as the plugs and wires come up, so I would find the smaller base footprint better to work with.

Excuse the phone pic. You see the point, the Futaba is only slightly bigger than the Sanwa, and is not in an ideal position.

List prices are $399 or $414. There are two prices depending on options.
