Any sharp bends in your receiver's antenna wire?

Any sharp bends in your receiver's antenna wire? May need a new antenna.

I have currently a Ko Eurus DSS with the 902 module...
I've recently tried a Ko Ex-1 KIY...
The feeling was a little different from mine...i don't know if better, more linear, more speed or whatever... simple a little more "feeling"....
So i don't agree to who says that the milliseconds response time are not so important... i've certainly "feeled" something different in response with FHSS...

Two times i've experienced binding problems with my DSS eurus... there was many many racers with dss systems... and this is one reason that bring me to switch to FHSS system... but more important is the new "feeling"....

My questions are:

-Will the KO Eurus with the new FHSS module have the same response time and transmission speed as the EX-1 KIY ?

-Actually i don't see the "ultra" setting in my response menu (the best i can select is "advanced") will the the feature come automatically when i insert the new module?

-Will this "ultra" response time work only with some servos? (obviusly i'm speaking about modern digital servos like savox, Ko or Sanwa) or if the servo don't support Ultra i'm still with Advanced?

-How is the Advance FHSS response/feeling compared to the Advance DSS ?

-Will a Ko Eurus with 904 FHSS module + 411 receiver be better (about drive feeling) than a Sanwa MT-4 FHSS3 system? I'm chosing for a KO FHSS upgrade or directly a New Sanwa MT4 FHSS (with telemetry turn off for better response time).

Thank in advance to all replies... some are a little technical...
maybe Ko Staff answers will be very appreciated!

I just switched to the FHSS module for my EURUS. Worked very well and love the instant bind at a big race. The antenna on the module is a little loose. Any tips to make a tighter and hold position better?

There is a thin piece of tape wrapped around the antenna retainer plug inside the module. Replace the tape with more wraps or a thicker tape. Also, using a small O-ring at the hinge joint helps with the antenna flopping in the other direction.

The steering on my euros is not centering does anybody know what is causing this and can I fix it with parts or does it need to be sent it for a repair?

Describe what "not centering" means a little further.

But, have you ever recalibrated your Eurus?

When you let go of the wheel it doesn't return the wheels on the car back to the same spot like it should, it's always to far to the left or right and I haven't tried to recalibrate it. I don't have the manual how do you do that?

1. Adjust VR:

OP -> Input -> AdjustVR (hold enter button for 3 seconds)

First step is to calibrate Left/Right/Center then hit enter
Second step is to calibrate Forward/Nuetral/Back then hit enter
Done.

2. Check your servo saver ...
What are you using?
Some times the spring in Kimbrough's gets weak
Some times the hard springs in Xray's jump off the plastic insert.

3. Check your servo ..
What are you using?
Some servo's don't center as well as others over time (under load).

Yes, that's right. With a spectrum module in the Ko transmitter you can use your old receivers, but such a module has to be bought seperately.

Hi guys I considering moving from the MT-4 to the Eurus. I know the new EX-1 is the flagship but I just doesn't 'sing' to me.

I am reading this thread trying to figure out what 'calibrating the tx to ESC' means. I never or remember having to 'calibrate' the MT-4 with my HW ESC, I set the trims and off I go.

1. Which page/ref in the Eurus manual is calibrating the tx to the ESC? What is AdjustVR? I've only ever had to adjust potentiometers back in the day with Thrustmaster joysticks!

2. Second question, can I run the Sanwa BRX servo is advance speed on the FHSS Eurus?

Thanks!
