I didn't want to wait any longer. I felt from the beginning of December until now was long enough. After some phone calls, I was informed that the radios were held up due to issues with the manuals and they have not been shipped from Japan as of last Monday. I was also informed that it may be at least another 2 weeks before the leave Japan, so as a result, I have purchased a M11x and am VERY happy with it. I should of done this 6 weeks ago.
Thanks anyway.

Twin- Another 2 weeks its ok! All peeps that are going to wait i PROMISE you it will be well WORTH the wait. Nobody in the industry makes a better radio like KoPropo! If your a race minded person and you want the most out of a radio system you should have waited! No sense spending money twice when you can buy the BEST right off the back!! Good luck with your M11x

I love the "I'm taking my ball and going home" bit.

A product's release to market can have hiccups and scheduling issues. Most times it is out of the hands of the manufacturer. It's not unusual. Welcome to the real world...and congrats on purchasing an inferior product.

There were other issues that I wasn't particularly pleased with..one being the small screen and having to scroll through god knows how many screens to get to the one I want. The M11x has a large screen and can be set to have the most common used settings on the first page accessed in a quick second.

Ko. could of designed a new case as well.
Must of had a bunch of these laying around so decided to use them..
Oh well, what is done is done I guess..

Big screen?? thats funny!! I didnt know it made you race better?

The case form is the best they have ever had. Fits small hands, large hands..and looks sweet!!!

Ive had my Helios since its release, haven't been happier.

If your not willing to wait, no biggie, everybody eventually comes to Ko anyway.

The Helios is most balanced radio I've ever held. I've held the M11 not the M11X and honestly; I like the feel of the M8 over the M11. (I went to my local hobby store with 8 AA batteries and walked around the store for about 45 mins with M11 in my hands.)
The M8 feels more solid when compared to the M11. But whatever the case; I hope you enjoy your new purchase. But the Helios style transmitters are the CAT'S MEOW!!!!

Pass you soon...

I think the M11X is already being discontinued as they are now offering a 2nd receiver with the radio now if purchased off their website. What's coming next?????

Having a look at this radio, and saw on Amain that it said the RX is developed to be used with LiPo without a regulator. Does this mean it will not work correctly with standard 6V Nimh? Or will it handle both equally as well?

Thanks
Scott

It means that this receiver will handle the voltage of a 2 cell lipo which could be upwards of 8.0 vdc. The nominal voltage is 6vdc. This receiver should work just fine at 6.0 volts. If you do intend to use a lipo you may have to run a regulator also to bring the 8 vdc down to 6vdc so you don't burn up your servos. But KO has this covered also.
In a nutshell some people choose to run a 2 cell lipo (7.4vdc) rather than the 5 cell Nimh/nicad which runs at 6vdc.

One has a setting module. The other doesn't.
