Team Orion Engines

it depends which Orion motor you are talking about... if it's the US Spec it needs the orion header, but with the Alpha line the OS should work

somebody asked me which engine to run in buggy, the new Team Orion Alpha CRF 3 port, or 7 port. I would say the 3 port hands down. The 7 port is really too much motor for a buggy, but will work better in a truggy. If you are a power junkie, then you can use the 7 port in buggy.
Obviously the 3 port will get better mileage...

The MTE is a lot of motor for buggy, you might want to lean toward the 3 port if it's for a Losi buggy. The most obvious benefit is longevity. These engines won't even get going for a gallon and a half. You can have fun club racing for a gallon and a half then take it to a big race and smoke everyone.
After that, it will run a LONG time. It just depends on maintenance of the aircleaner and such. With good care these are marathon engines.

i would have to agree with pk the mte has too much power. mileage not too bad 9-10 mins but again too much power its hard too put it to the ground just changed to 3 port for that reason any release date for the 3 port alpha crf pk

Matthijs, don't feel bad about the old ABI 3 port, it's a great engine! Capable of 10 minute run time and Cody's favorite engine to that point in his career. It's a gem.
