O really?because i run king heads rear hubs. I replace my bearings as they start feeling gritty then i will change them out. Im on my original set of king headz rear bearings and i got the hub shortly after it came out. if you have an opinion that is fine, but dont post false info
I agree with Losi_Racer I've had my KHZ Hubs about a month longer than him and I am still using the Bearings that came with it!!!!!! They are just now starting to feel a little gritty so I will replace them but for the money the KHZ hubs are well worth it.

Has there been any changes to Casey's setup, moving rear camber link, 2.0mm sway bar etc. I'm going to give it a try at a race meet on Sunday, so just wanted to check if anything has been improved upon.
Thanks
Pete.
P.S. Can someone please point me to the post that listed all the shock springs, with there rated order? Or a site that provides the same info? I tried to find the post in here but failed....

thats crazy about all your guys outter bearings going, ive had my truck since mid summer and had been racing all winter every week and only replaced each rear, and one front, and the truck was used to boot, and its not like you get a dnf when it goes, the wheel just gets a little more sloppy, shoot i never even noticed em until i got back to the pits, I remember reading about this issue when i first got my truck and was thinking of modding, but so far its cost me three bucks in bearings, not really a prob for me

Yes the bearing's can outright fail and spit race's and balls out and Next thing you know your rockin -20degrees of camber as your axle is now being supported by the Knuckle itself.
Its CAN happen.

haha sorry, this reminded me of a time at a club race billy fisher was running the main and his rear wheel looked a little funny, every time he came around to the straight it got worse and worse. when he finished, when he was going down the straight it was going pos-neg it was funny

Prob depends on the track. In the summer time after race day my cars are filthy and need serious cleaning. I am running a winter series right now and there's a little clay that sticks to the bottom but that's about it. They need very light cleaning. I think bearings will fail under dusty conditions faster than on other tracks. I remember the 1st club race with the 2.0 and the putter bearings didn't last through a 15 min race. It was horrible.

i run on dusty tracks all year round, and i have lost all the balls and everything from the bearing and i dont see how it would cause you to get a dnf, unless the friction from the races causes the hub to melt, but that would take alot tho

last year at nitro challenge i had my 1.0 truggy and in practice my rear bearing failed(i didnt maintain the truck at all i was a novice) and luckly it was practice because(i forget what side) the wheel locked up. so i had 3 wheel drive.
