Smiley..yea that race...who all was there...and congrats...sounds like you were getting down. i think one of the last times we raced in Tx was at Fastrak....the gearhead grudge match and my boy won sportsman..well scratch that my memory bad..we raced at Area 51 before it got closed and then the river track once for a pro series.

Yea, Fastrak was an awesome track. Too bad the owners were aholes. Area 51 was a very cool track, Sucks its no longer around. We had 70 Entries, Mostly Houston People, and a handfull from LA. Branham went a money race over in San Antonio. Thanks!

so you are liking the 3 port...i was telling peeps in my area last year about how stout it was...thinking on taking Monty's advice and putting a plus 4 crank in my p5 and 3 port and see what happens.

Yea, The Newer N21R Limited 3 Port is awesome. I'm going to get a Plus 4C too, But the little 3 Port flys! Its 230ish right now, A tad bit leaner (240-245ish), I think it will go 11min, So a safe 10. Tha last tank I timed last sunday, Ran out at 10:30, Out of fuel at 229. So, I believe 11 is very possiable, Not to mention it only has 1.5 Gallons on it. Lots of metal pinch as well. Normally not a real big fan of OD Plugs, But the 99 works very well in it.
Curious, What would putting the Plus 4 Crank in the 3 Port do? Interesting.

the 99 is a good plug just a little cold but if you can tune it makes great power

wayyyy more power with one of those cranks , either 15009, 15009t or 15007t

the cranks that come with those engines are pretty sporty , kind of like a blank slate

Hey Monty & Mark
You guys talked or wrote about pipes, manifolds, cranks, plugs, bearings,
clutches and a number of things dealing with nitro engines, but not that much
concerning air filters. When I was racing 1/10 scale nitro on-road and off-road
a different style of filter or connector lenght would perform differently. In two
stroke motorcycle racing air filter box size and connector length is a big thing.
Kinda like the tuned pipe and manifold, but on the other end. Any tips other than keep it clean?
Thanks

I have yet to experiment with most of the OD Plugs. Always been a fan of OS Turbo's and McCoy Standard's. I have been trying the OD Plugs here lately, And have really been liking them. Probably going to switch over to only OD Plugs. Should be interesting to see how the new Nova Plugs are.

throw an odonnell plug and bam! instant fix
confusing to say the least , its been three years of dealing with it

I like the odonnell glow plugs, your right Houston, the 99 is a little cold, but really reliable. I don't see a medium standard plug though. The truck 0100 plug, is that it? I usually run the mccoy mc-8 plug, It works on everything...
