As i stated to everyone that had contacted me.. There was some big changes in the company (Sirio) and Epic hasnt received an order since earlier in the year. You will need to contact Billy from now on.. If any of you are getting the run around when they finally get product. email me at [email protected] and I will try my best to help you guys. I did what i could with what i had available to me.

Any recommendations for a carb boot for an extech .21. Cant find one anywhere. Even looked at Serio and Werks engines and cant find one.

Is there any other manufactures that has a great fit for the boot.

The same thing happened to my .21. A pro cleaned it up for me and put it back together. I never sent it in to refill it. I have been running with out it ever since and it has been running great.

I need a freaking carb boot now and cant find one at all. I love this engine but parts are hard to find. I would love to have an extech for my next engine but the scarcity in parts and service is just not there.

If i had known i wouldn't get my engine back i would have done the same thing, just clean it out & ran it till it blew. Well maybe if i keep on trinity/ epic they will do the right thing give me an engine.

Chad very sorry to hear you have left Trinity.. With the issues some have mentioned and now with the knowledge that you have left I am not so sure I am going to spend $315 on this engine anymore.. Really sad to see a long time R/C comapny in the downward spiral of failure.. Need Lee Iacoca to turn it around. LOL Too much termoil in a company that shouldn't have it..

Guess I'll start looking elsewhere for an engine..

There has to be someone out there that knows what will work or a Carb boot. The last thing I want to do is buy a whole bunch of different ones in hope that I Ind one that will work.

I've got 5 different carbs here, if you were closer you could come by and we'ld figure out something.. I can't imagine that you would to far off going with a OS boot..

I'm pretty sure we put a v-spec carb on my son's extech 1 you may want to go that route if you are willing to spend the money on that engine. I am out of town but can ck. when i get back home if you'd like.

Chad, sorry to year about that. I normaly would not post on another manufacturers thread but for those of you looking for carb parts our composite carb (and it's parts) are interchangable with those of the Sirio. We both use the same carb so if you are looking for carb related parts you can order them on-line at a-mains site. They may be backordered on carb boots but they have them on order with us and we will be shipping some to them next Tuesday or Wednesday. Hope this helps a little..

Regards,

Ron

Chad,
It can only get better from here. I can only image the stress you were going thru working for trinity, trying to handle all the disgruntled customers.

You in PA again? Looking forward to racing with you again, ( I might be a few laps down) but nonetheless you are one of my favorites to race with and to watch race.

So smoooooth!
