2010 Aussiemove International Nitro Challenge 19/20 June
#61
Unfortunately no it wasn't spotted when the Qld event was confirmed @ october last year. The BDR club has already had to shift this event once from the original date and couldn't shift again once we became aware of the clash. It is a pity..

Seems very few want a share of my $10000.00, and as there has always been provision for this scenario I am compelled to announce the event is reverting to the rules and prize payments contained in the document at the address below.
http://www.ocrraceway.com/2010%20Res...NC10revert.doc
Not a lot changes, except the format where all 15 rounds now count and the prizemoney is reduced, first place still gets the same money, the Sports Buggy class doesnt change at all, and entry fees a now $100.00 across the board.
Further to that 1/8 EP and Trucks Unlimited classes have been cancelled. If any competitors that have entered and paid to enter these 2 classes your entry fee will be refunded.
It is possible a demo class Hyper SC10 4WD Trucks will be implemented, if interest warrants it.
Im also sad to say this will be the last Nitro Challenge from OCR, regardless of the changes above, this event as always will be great fun and worth the effort, and you do still have the opportunity to come and enjoy the end of an era!! Thank you Australia!!!!
For more info go to www.ocrraceway.com
In response to Matts comment re dates clash, this event has always been scheduled in June, and the 2010 AINC10 events dates were scheduled in April 2009!
If anyone has any queries contact me via email [email protected]

I think you should stick with 10 rounds counting, and dropping 5, it makes sense, Im sure everyone would agree with that.
Dont forget, the Australian champion, Reno Savoya is coming to this event, so if anyone wants to see some eye popping driver skill, I suggest you enter and race up there.

Sorry Dal but the event has always been an all rounds count affair, the only reason I made change for this year was to perhaps attract some other drivers that had issue with the format.
And as was always present in the event information and rules, and the fact the required numbers are not going to be met, the event is reverting to its original format and spirit!!!
And yes Savoya is still coming, and Haley and Frensham, its just a shame some of the other top guns from australia cant see fit to support this event.
Thanks again guys
Tony

If you want to race in the NT, make it this year!!!
