I run 10-10-5 in my diffs which give me more pull that push, but regardless if i over drive my rear spins out,

Check your rear brakes, they maybe grabbing way to much, normally, you set about 60 rear and 40 front, you do not want the brakes to lock up when braking, just grabbing tight enough to slow you down quickly, if when your breaking, and they locking, that will throw the ass all over.

Thanks guys, I think I need to go back to the standard setup and up the diff oils and see how it goes.

I actually turned the rear brakes right down cos I thought they might be grabbing. So don't think that could be the issue.

Guys this weekend I will be running on an indoor blue groove track (which I normally do not). I currently run the drake standard setup with lighter shock oil, what are some things I may look to do to help the truck. I am just thinking in advance as I have never run on a track like this. The truck may be spot on, but if its not I am asking for suggestions. Can't wait for this race looks like it is going to be off the chaon!!!!

Thanks guys
Jason

I would say biggest thing would be tire choice. Find out what works and then use that tire combo. I would thing either cityblocks, grid irons or revolvers, but thats without seeing the track.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the BLACK Flex chassis as opposed to the RTR RED chassis?

The difference is huge. The red RTR chassis is a solid piece of alum. The flex chassis is milled in areas to allow flex and increase traction. When I ran a 1.0 T I ran the stock roller chassis until 2 races before I sold the truck. I installed the flex tuned 1.0 chassis and it made huge improvements in handeling, corner speed and in the bumps. Well worth the money. If you want the newest up to date tech and R/D then go for the BCE 8T 2.0 chassis. I run this chassis now and it flat rocks. Great chassis and even better in the bumps and corners. Check it out. Thanks for the info, I know that Bill's chassis are great, I have had a few of his chassis for Kyohso cars, I've had in the past. Bill does nice work.

Just use drakes set up, it should be good at most tracks.

I went back to stock on sunday (dry astro, grinders,OS 28) stock diffs were fine but only got 20 mins out of the centre then it was cooked, for the final i went white springs on the front and purple on the rear .. it made it very twitchy , in hind sight i think i will have to move the shocks out on the lower arms or not run grinders, the car had no push but loads of grip .. some of the corners were James Bond style lol

What do you mean you only got 20 min out the center?
