Hey guys just need a little insight.

I have the org db12r not yet the rr or lipo version.

here the questions. I'm a bit strap for cash these days. so i'm planning on running the car with lipo. with a brushed 27turn.

Will be up grading the car to full lipo and rear pod to RR version in the next couple of month then up grade to bushless hopeully by november.

could any one give me a decent setup for a tight narrow indoor carpet track.

oh yes were allowed to use paragon at out club.

Thanks in advance

40wt oil blue/gold spring (silva or other bladder shock)
Med ballstud, shimmed as needed to clear the lipo

Well got all my bodies mounted and cut up finally...now just to paint them. Got my Novak Smart Booster mounted as well. I ended up using Shoe Goo to hold it in...servo tape just wouldn't give me a bond I could trust on it since the bottom isn't flat.

Well I was just about to post my setup anyway so here it goes:

Last night I raced at our local track, I run a 10.5T/1S DB12RR-LiPo. I came in 2nd in the race because of a badly place brick on the track, but before that I had opened up almost a 2 lap lead. I set the fastest single lap of the day, fastest averages for 5,10,20 laps for the main. The car was insanely good to drive, not the fastest on the straight but lightning on the infield.

Front:
5Deg caster blocks
-1 Camber
Neutral toe (slight toe in on compression)
Flat servo
BMI linear .20 springs (I think... I need to check they may be 22, I will verify and edit this)
very little shock oil on the king pins just to make it move smooth
Jaco Black fronts, trued downa mm or so from stock. (I dont have the measurements on hand)
Front Ride height: 4mm - 4.5mm

Middle:
Silvia center shock, gold spring and 50wt oil.
Mounted in the tall position (sorta, I am using a different front shock mount but its right around there)
LiPo in its lil pocket held in via the rubber band running under the Oring latch points.
Thick (standard) flex plates mounted in the long position.
Damper tubes - I think sure lube 3 (could be 3 or 4, but its teh thinner of the two, been a while since I re-did them)
Ride height: 4 - 4.5mm

Back:
Ride height: 4 - 4.5 mm
Jaco White foams. (I chunked my yellows badly and only had one set of whites with me, they turned out to run very good!) Trued to 1.70" I believe.
Diff was a bit tighter than normal since I havent rebuilt it in a few months now and worked great with the powerful 10.5.
~1mm droop.

Gearing: 78T Spur, 40T pinion
Motor: Orion Vortex V2 10.5T with 0 deg timing.
ESC: Novak GTB 4 cell.
Batt: SMC 4900mAh 40C
