I ran a diffrent companies carb(not os or nova) this weekend and did not like the results, back to the stock carb for this mill.
Anyways I pulled my 053 from the go for my GRP, would an os 2050 work allright for 7 port? Has anyone tried it?

Dude from the work that goes in to the MG66 mod wise I have to say I bet that it can hang and probably pull a ninja and similar power to the C6. The C6 is more powerful than the ninja. I had a modded 5 port in truggy and pulled os .28XZ's down the straight with 1.1 springs mugen light shoes 8mm restricter and an 086. The MG66 has much more work done to it than the modded 5 I had so get it you wont be sorry.

I tried an Associated 2035 pipe and header last weekend and i think it works pretty well on the 7 port. I'm also using an R&B/Nova carb from an old WS7 II that I had. I'll stick with it since my impression is, it has more bottom with this one and is fairly easy to tune. Running time was 8:30 on the safe side - still some fuel left.

Here's a vid from last weekend, Kendall is running a 7 gallon old 5 port with only a timing mod and epoxy ramped crank, no grinding. Came off after 30 minutes at 240 deg. Everyone else pretty much has Speed's an Ninja's. Not giving up much power I'd say.

Mark may have done some side by side testing, and may be able to give you more of a comparison.
I would say in a couple of weeks there will be some reports from the track that you could refer to.
Hey All

id liek to tell you what i think but its best to let people who have used the engine tell you , so here is a short review from Pedr Mackie who recently got an MG66 for his Truggy

Hey guys just an update on the new GO MG66 that I am running. I'm at the 10 tank mark and still have not touched the HSN at all and I run it hard for the first time at race pace and it was crazy fast. More power than I could use and even tho it was running real fat it got over 13 minutes to a tank! When it's ready for a race tune I'm hopeing for 14 minutes plus. Just as a side note my mate was running his new Ninja motor in his 8t2 at full race tune and the GO was dusting him over the full rev range and he refueled after 11 minutes. It is one serious motor.

Chalkie.

Can't comment on the price as I don't know what country your in
Locally they are only a few $ more than the Gen 5.5's.

Don't think you will find any on-line store pics better then what you have posted here. That is a pretty good product description, and the detailed pics of the coated crank etc are nice and clear too.

I travel a lot and get things as I go along. A few $ more? That's hell a lot of value! Extra conrod and 4 carb inserts? That Titanium nitride coated crankshaft just makes my heart melt. How much increase, say, in percentage over the gen 5.5?

I've never had a Go engine before, wouldn't mind trying out one now I must add I'm not spending more than US$280. ANything more I'll go for a Plus 4.

I don't think your going to see the MG66 offered
here in the states until Feb. or later of next year.
So if you want one, spend the extra money and
order it from anywhere you can find it. There is
no need to bare the brunt of someone who doesn't
know how to run a import company properly.
