Hmmm..sounds familiar. Sorry to hear that. Kinda like me at Pleasant Hill. I almost left the truck keys with Spiti and walked home.

Thumbs down Plastic Shock Caps

Has anybody else had problems with the plastic factory shock caps? I went off a big jump yesterday and the back two shock caps just broke! I also stripped the threads out of the bottom holes on the rear differential case because the wing hit the ground and yanked the aluminum shock tower forward. I bent the shock tower in three different ways! Now I'm waiting for parts to come.

Default Offset wheels

I was looking at jconcepts mono 3.7" 1/8 truck wheel (3320) and it says standard offset. I have two questions. #1. will 3.7" wheels be compatible with the 8t 2.0 because I'm pretty sure it has 4.0" wheels. #2. The 8t 2.0 has 0 offset wheels; will standard offset wheels be compatible with the 8t 2.0?

Any information would be great!

In j concepts wheels you need the 1/2 ups in the standard offset. Standard offset and zero offset are the same thing. The 1/2 up is the larger size rim.

The mono wheels are compatible. 3.7 is standard LPR size. Standard offset is the same as zero.

As for the shock caps, they would only be plastic if you have an RTR. In which case it is recommended to upgrade to the roller aluminum caps. Sounds like you took quite a hit though.

It was the RTR. I ordered a bunch of new aluminum parts/hopups though.

Don't over do it with the aluminum.

Say someone messed up a rear hub on his truggy and the hobby shop only has 1.0 rear hubs. Which of the three holes in the 1.0 hub would be the same as Hole-B in the 2.0 hub?

As documented in the thread. The front wheels rub the A arm. I switched to the AKA rims however I still have rub.

My question is will the 2mm hub extenders cure this?

Also has anyone ever put there truggy on a Hudy system. If so did you notice with the 1's pointed out in the rear toe plate. Did you notice you were actually at 5 degrees toe and not 3. I put in the .5's in pointed out and I was still just shy of 4 degrees.
