I am no expert but the R versions look a lot more .... well, ....R
I would think Pro is the mid point , between standard and R , or a "special edition" type of product for intro or end of life cycle products

A few have now landed in Australia, mine arrived today. I'm looking forward to the build. The new alloy knuckles for the MO5 are the same as those released by Tamiya for the MO3R, just a different part number and no steering linkages. These are a universal fit for the MO5,MO3 and MO4. They come with mounting screws, spacers and long and short 5mm ball connectors.

Keeping combined threads going is nearly impossible. Everyone wants to be the first to start a new thread for a new car, then people start posting there and it usually sticks, so you end up with multiple threads.

The ONLY thread that I've seen avoid this was the "Schumacher Corner" thread, which managed to keep the same thread through about 7 different cars...but sadly enough, even that has split with the release of the Mi4...

...So if a thread that old, that big, and with plenty-o factory support can't' keep it altogether...theres not much hope for other threads.

Multiple threads for multiple cars from the same manufacturers are pretty much the way it is now.

You think? IMO I think a bigger bearing in the front will be better and longer lasting. The rear bearing and tranny bearings doesn't matter..

Yeah I agree with you but for those that want info on this chassis only then this is the place to come. If someone wants m05 info they have to go thru pages that contain m01, m03 aswell as people talking about m02 and m04 just to find the m05 info.

Anyone with tunning advice, adjustments settings and tips and tricks, it could be found here for the M05-M05Pro

"Tamiya mini cooper" is the thread for all of us mini guys and its the best place for mini info

So the front C-hubs are the same aswell or are they more beefy? I thought the M03R C-blocks/hubs were to small and before I know it I broke one.

Are the M05 C-hubs the same size as the M03R?

Yes they are the same C hubs and comments regarding the MO5 Pro have been made on the Tamiya Mini thread, Australian MO3 thread and rc mini net.
