I have had this problem with the 1.0 and not yet with the 2.0 but loosening up the screws that mount the top plate seems to resolve this issue. Then tightening them later and the binding went away. I am not sure what causes this it seems like a binding issue but I dont know where it is binding.

i just file a fraction off the diff mount so that there is no binding. its an instant fix

give me a call when you get a chance matt so we can sort out what you want to do with the bodies for the truggy

Drove the truck like I stole it tonight and it held up rather well.

I'm still searching for more rear grip. Thinking about lowering the rear shock oils to 30 and taking the rear diff down to 1k.

What do you guys think?

you could try 3000 wt oil in the rear diff ....
alittle more -camber on the front
do you have toe out front
run less rear toe in
run lighter spring in front
do you have adjustable hinge pin braces ?

just to stir it all up again, but last night i was checking out a buddies INTEGY rear hubs that he had from the 1.0 era,and they had a 16mm outer bearing.still integy aluminum, but gotta be cheaper than the khz if you really gotta have aluminum.might have to drill out the hinge pin.

Move the hubs back to trhe middle, check the ride height again, then stiffen up on the oil weight in the rear shocks if you want a little more rotation. Also drop to the 3 deg toe plate instead of the 3.5. I made these changes to mine, and TQ'ed and won the A-main yesterday. Had problems with push as well......so far its working better now. Still a little more tweaking, but its getting there.

slumlord, felt the same way, needed more rear grip.

Give 27.5 shock oil a try and go up to 4 or 5k in the diff, you will smile. I promise.

My current set up is using 6k 10k 4k with 35 in the front and 27.5 in the rear. stock springs all around. and a 2.5 rear sway. It doesn't make sense but going up on the rear sway bar on the 2.0t increased rear grip as well.

Dremel worked great on this.

I am using 27.5 in the rear and 32.5 in the front and stock springs, SD's front and center and 5k in the rear, all other setup (camber, caster, toe) is stock I do use a 3-3 block in the rear. The springs and oil make the truck handle the bumps perfectly, the truck is very very stable.

I have these rear hubs and yes you do need to drill out the hinge pin to make the 2.0 pin fit. Aside from that they work great and do house the larger outer bearing.
