2.0 needs 0
1.0 needs 1/2 or hub extensions.

Running either one with the wrong offset will kill handling. Running too narrow will mean an unstable truck. Running too wide will result in reduced steering, and just generally sluggish handling. There is a reason that these trucks are the width that they are. Theres lots of engineering put into it. Run it how it's meant to be run.

Hey guys. After racing buggies for years i decided to give this 8t 2.0 a try. Took it out to the track today and it drove well. However it seems like it wants to nose dive on every jump. I increased the front ride height but only help a little bit. Truck has stock black/gray springs and whatever piston /fluid it was assembled in. I am having to rev the poo outta my vspec to get it stay leveled in a jump and its really throwing off my rhythm. Any ideas?

Never had that issue with this truck before. Always seemes to fly perfectly level. Are you sure you don't have something binding? Maybe drag brake?

No the brakes are free as they can be. it just seems very nose heavy. Can someone give me any setup suggestions? perhaps different springs /oil weight? The track I run on is a loamy large flowing track with medium sized jumps. As i sai. Truck handles well untill I hit the jumps. Not just one but all of them seems to nosedive on me. Help plz.

Check your droop. The truck may not be setup correctly... Mine was way off when I pulled it out of the box. The other thing to check is for binding in the A- arms where the hinge pins go through. Mine was real bound up in the rear. Maybe yours is bound up in the front... After that I would check for fluid levels in all your shocks then check ride height with at least a half a tank of fuel, in full race form (body, receiver battery installed ect.)...This will help you with your pre-load adjustment. Other that I can say you just need to put a gallon or so on it to get everything freed up and working. I find that with all my Losi's they run better with a little slop. My 2.0 really didn't seem to feel right until I took it to a big track with big jumps!!
They say Race Rollers, you still need to go through all the setup specs.

Some thing is dragging in the front end. Did the rev it on the starter box and chop the throttle and see if the fronts are stopping? Could also be clutch drag. See if you have a spring that has dislodged from one of the shoes. I have never seen this truck do that with the stock set up or any other set up

I had this similar problem when my truck was new. I figured it was due to new parts all working together. Losi needs running time to "loosen" up right at about a gallon of fuel or about 90 min of run time my truck came to life. I ran stock oils for the first 5 weeks then changed to new diff oils 7 10 1 and losi 30 35 oil and have not looked back.Droop can be a factor too.A friend of mine and me bot ours 2 weks apart and there wrer differences in both outof the box.A good full checkup is never a bad thing. I have ran 106mm for droop in the front and it did help the dive ,but were on a diiferent track and allso no real fellin if that would help. Not gettin all into setup but it may just need more running. It seemed that the truck would traction roll and do horrible things but progressivly that went to zero and the thing is now a great handling machine. I love mine and glad I own it. time for a buggy now

Can someone explain the different spring rates front&rear may effect a car's attitude during a jump? If I want to remedy this nose dive should I go softer/harder springs front or back? Thanks!

Perhaps different shock oil/pistons would help also? Anyone with any input would be appreciated!

maybe you need to adjust youre driving coming up to the jump and keep the throttle on a bit longer on the jump instead of backing off...should fix the nose diving

My truck was nose diving at the weekend, it was the front brake shoes binding on the shaft of the bolt so i enlarged the holes a little and it cured it.

If its stock set up - check the front brake - other than that you just be to give it some gas -to help stay level. One of our track builders here is great a the faces of the jump - he makes jumps that will make you nose dive not matter what you do or how you change your set up.

i dont think set up is the problem, if its handling good, I would not change much on the truck....... MO
