Default Starter box input?

So, I will be breaking in a very tight motor. Need to buy a starter box and am looking at the OFNA Truggy/Buggy box 10244.

What are you guys using?

tks,
vhb

Thats the one to get.
After breaking in motors on a break in bench I really like it, motors start up faster and don't flame out near as much.

I use the OFN10245 compact starter box. when you first start your new engine heat it up. then loosen the glow plug to get it to turn over and fired up. then just tighten glow plug back down. I also use massive mods run in oil.

So i did breakin on the go sport 3 port today, so far have about 9 tanks on it, it started up with little hassle. basically did a modified breakin, 2 tanks on the box just to set the bearings in and then (so far) 7 tanks on the ground not exceeding 1/2 throttle(many of those tanks were 2 minutes at a time). ran out of gas twice (thing is drinking like dudley moore did booze in arthur) and at flame out it temped at 245 regular temps were in the 210- 230 range. carb is set at flush lsn and 2 hours in on the hsn. yeah it is smoking more than tommy chong used to.

Not going past 1/2 throttle i was putting semi consistant 31-32 second laps. the fastest out there were doing 28-30 second laps.

I am really digging it! running fox med glowplug and 25%/12.5% fuel and a 086 pipe.. even with the 7mm restricter in there runtime isnt all that great but i am sure it will improve as it runs in.

i have been using the same ofna stainless box for the past 3 years.. same wheel, belt everything! when using it for the gas truck i put some slightly lighter springs in it though, not a needed thing just was bored and had them on the bench

this thing is the cats meow.

What pipe works the best on the 3 port race for decent power with good fuel economy? Also what plug are you guys running in the race motor? Also are there better orings out there for the carb?

Default 3 port pipe

Pink Sleeve,

I haven't tried the Go pipes yet, but the 086 is a great pipe on the 3 port race. I would also run a 7mm carb restrictor.

That's the best starter box I've personally used (out of mine and other people's). It will start new engines in your buggy, truggy, and Chevy.

I have had my go 7 port for a while now and lost the tune again
I have it at <.5 HSN and 1.5-2 LSN
I seems to be high reving especially at 1/2 throttle, it is not on pipe and have tried everything and dont know how to get the tune
I am using a dynamite MR pipe

Just fitted a GO 2072 in my mp777 buggy on a MM5 7 port with a 7mm restrictor..with 5000 oil in the center diff I can jam on the brakes and hit the throttle and it wheelies down our club straight...totally insane - everyone should have one
