I'll put my money on I've been doing this longer than you snowboard, and if you aren't driving like a complete moron you wouldn't bend a CVD. I've NEVER had an issue with them in ANY car I've used. There is a reason they are used in high end cars and not plastic, but I guess you aren't bright enough to figure that out.

Really what it comes down to is preference and driving conditions.
If you drive on road or on smooth flat tracks with no big jumps and high traction cvd's are the way to go.
If your driving off road low traction in the ruff stuff and bashing plastic is the way to go.
My reasoning behind this is what causes most plastic drives to break is repetitive excessive torque such as punching the throttle coming out of a turn on a high traction surface which causes them to twist and then snap which mostly happens when you have a lota traction,power,tight slipper.
But they hold up much better to shock loads such as on throttle landings and large suspension travel where cvd's have a tendency to pop the cup or snap and the universal joint pins in this case the plastic has that bit of flex to absorb this.
The opposite applys to cvd's there great when there not subject to shock loads and do alot to reduce rotating mass and can withstand higher torque loads but un like plastic if something causes them to flex just a little bit there done for they also wear out faster and require alot more maintenance

it doesnt take driving like a moron to bend a CVD. Were not talking about high end cars were talking about an e-maxx that you think needs CVDs. The 3905 can hold up to mmm on 6s better than any cvd and same with the e-revo. If you were into this longer than me you would know that almost any after market cvd for the e-maxx will break in about 1-2 runs with mmm power. Your diffs and tranny would go out before any drivelines. Did you even read what Duster or Infernus said?
Next you are going to tell me the stock diffs can handle it.

that's funny considering I had an MMM Emaxx with MIP CVDs and had 0 issues with them the whole time. It's also funny how it would twist and snap the plastic almost immediately. Huh, guess I just got an extra secret more powerful MMM setup right?

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!! look what i found in two seconds. Since you dont believe duster, me, or infernus, check these out. Two of the 4 are about breaking the mips with a mmm 6s setup and how the stock drivelines are better!!!!! omg what a shock. The other two are about how crappy they are period for off road. Man you are such an rc bad ass.
