How do Tom, quite impressive are they not

Just wondered what class you were running in??

Did you have to gear it any different to prev speedos? etc

i ran 10.5, i use 6 cell rather than lipo. i geared the car a tooth higher than usual to allow for the extra revs from the turbo boost which put me on about 4.45 overall. i also ran about 2 thirds anti clockwise timing on the motor.

Although I only managed 4th overall at the first round of the STCC (was all down to tyre prep...and found out what that was on the last final...great! LOL)

The car was like a rocket.... I have heard great things about the LRP SPX but I can tell you now, I was gaining on them so fast 3/4 down the straight, to the point of having to back off!!

I have not changed my set up for the speedo from indoors to out doors and it flys.

gearing was the same as Prince, LRP motors but just kept going. I was not running any fans on the motor, and it did get hot.... not over operational temp, but it was warm. as for the speedo... cool as and that was just with the standard fan in place.

Any questions please ask away or pm me if you want a quick reply

I just bought the RB-30 and 17.5 combo for club racing and ROAR, can't wait to start practicing at the track every night. BTW I am coming from a CO27 motor and Novak GTX.

BTW how long does it take to get here? 2 Weeks?

Thomas,
Gear ratio at around 11-12 is a good starting point, it depends on track conditions such as surface/temperature....5.5T sometimes is too strong and always make slip.

I ran my RB50 with a 6.5R Novak in my B44 for our Offroad Nationals here a few weeks ago, it ran flawlessly to a 4th place.

Default A Q to TeamWave

I bought the RB-50 for my 4wd buggy. And i run 2wd class to, today there is a LRP TC SPEC ESC mounted in that car.. my plan was to run a 6.5 motor. (running astroturf)

So my question, i have seen that you offer the RB-30..it says motor down to 7.0-7.5T

Is there any possibilites to run the 30 with a 6.5 and a fan? or is that a big no,no?

My plan is maybe to sell every LRP esc off and go for TW 100%. not sure if a 7.5 will be enough for me, i rahter hae little extra and use my finger, then to little...

I've been looking at the RB-30 as an alternative for my Mongoose in my Shark. It looks tiny, will it work better than the 'Goose.

Also, are there any UK retailers?

Decided today to skip all LRP electronics in my racecars. I will be using TeamWave products all the way.

A RB-30 with a 7.5 will be used in my 2wd, wil be ordering a system later this month i hope

Thomas P:

Yes, you can run 6.5 using RB30 with FAN mounted on top. We always recommend running with FAN in hot weather.
