Oh yeh!

Here's the pix of it on the car

You just drill a couple new holes where the screws are missing in the picture.

Too easy!

I did have to buy a new top plate for $7 tho.

I didn't have to change the chassis and everything on it.

Just bolt the plate to the 2 original bulkhead screws then drill 2 new holes under the servo (pull the servo first!) and put 2 new screws with nuts in the new holes, remount the servo and go racing again.

Should take about 10 minutes, no new chassis and no complete rebuild.

I hand made several of these plates to help you guys that WILL eventually break your chassis in the same place.

You can get one to fix your chassis or get one to prevent breaking your chassis and top plate.

Or you can go get an aluminum plate at the hobby store, cut it, bend it, drill it, countersink it and then bolt it on but you won't be racing the same day that's for sure!

$20 shipped for one of my "F N Racing Stuff" plates.
Get your paypal ready.
for 20 bucks, you should at least engrave your 'f n racing stuff' and not just sharpie'd in.

I broke my chassis too today.

It was bad landing, off of a jump on a 1/10 scale racetrack , but it was not THAT bad of a landing.

Not a big deal really , I hope Team Associated will give/sell me a new one quickly.

I've noticed that when I take a turn at high speed with my sc10, I hear a
Grinding noise. I know my mesh is correct, so I'm assuming it's the diff. When I take off In a straight line, it doesn't do it. It's not a major noise, just slight. This is normal for a new gear diff right? Once it breaks in, it will not be as bad right?

My SC10 ( Novak 13.5 SS ) is all over the place on throttle. Slow steady trigger pulls or snappy throttle. Any suggestions to calm the rear end down. It wants to do donuts. I raced it in a slash race, and the slash's killed it.

a diff should never make a grinding noise even when new and tight. take it out and look it over good a guy at my track shelled one after 2 hrs. of running. i still havent ran mine yet so i cant comment im starting out with ae. 2k diff fluid im not a fan of grease in a diff but i know grease wouldnt be an issue with a diff going poof. i wasnt to impressed with this diff when i built mine im used to a good 1/8th diff and the e firestorm diff is a whole lot better than the ae diff. i hated my rc8 cause of crappy plastic and so forth and after building this truck as cool as it is im not to pumped on the fit and finish. post some pics if you can i wanna see youre diff

I was at the J Concepts Rage race in Charlotte today and all three of the SC10's in the mod class finished behind all of the Slashes. Nobody could seem to get any of the power to the ground. A few of these guys were very good drivers one of which is a sponered driver so to see them struggle with these trucks makes we want to sell mine before I even run it. They literally got killed by the Slash a few of them even got lapped.

Your motor is overkill. Anything more than 17.5 is a waste. You can't put that power down on the dirt with those wheels. That is what CORR racing is all about.

Well I'm also thinking it might NOT be the diff. I ran it once before and it didn't make that sound. I kept popping a rear turnbuckle off, so today I put new ball ends on and ran it. Where the carrier is on the rear hub is/was rubbing on the suspension arm, so I'm thinking maybe that's what's doing it. It's not so much a grinding noise as it is a really fast ticking sound. It only happens when I take a turn at high speeds or hit the throttle coming out of a slide. I really hope it's not my diff, because it will be a royal pain to have to take it out

Turn down your throttle curve, gear down a pinion or two, and run goosebumps. Problem solved of close to it

An sc10/slash use a completely different tire than a T4.
