+1 plus on the proline body being a copy of all there other bodies just longer to fit the chassis.. very disappointed by them. the 2.0 stock body by far is the coolest looking body in a long time. i think ill just stay with my stock body for a while.

Is there a list of what needs to be done to the 8T 2.0 besides reading through a 100 pages on this post? Also does anyone know if the wheel guard from a 8t will fit the 8t 2.0?

Thanks in advance..

1. modded hubs and spindles with the 8x16x5 bearings (plastic or alum)
2. mill shock towers front and rear for camber link bolts and rear for upper wingstay bolts (you can just rig up longer bolts and cut them) milling is just way more trick
3. is dremel the front a-arm on the back side where the wheel hits when turned full lock (turn wheel full lock and compress suspension and you will see it hit) this is what causes the wheels to break often for no reason at all lol

other then putting the kingheadz hingepin holders on my truck and extended motor mount the truck is pretty damn bad ass and i don't have any complaints at all on the truck. i know that some people want something right out of the box but i feel that every kit has their own little mods that people do to make them better. thats just my thoughts and what i have done to my truck. if you want modded hubs and or milled shocktowers just pm me and i will hook you up. if you want some lightened couplers and lightened axles look up TIX and he will hook you up.

you have all missed the point of the proline body. they have done exactly what everyone was asking for. when the truggy first came out everyone was saying that the new losi body was but ugly and didnt look like a truggy. so they have made a truggy body for the 8T 2.0

personally i dont like the proline body but i always liked the losi body. even before it can out and the pictures were leaked i liked it

When I first saw the stock Losi body, I didn't like it much. Now it has grown on me and the more people that race other brands say it's ugly, the more I like it. I like the long rear deck lid, it loosely resembles a Pro Modified drag car.

Ok, so how tight are the clutch spring screws need to be, all of them are hanging up, i shaved a tic off each side for clearence from the top and bottom, but same issue, if i back off the screw just a tick, still somewhat tight, it is ok, any help would be great.

So, i found the problem, and just so anyone else doesnt encounter this here it is.

When changing to new shoe's or just the new one in the kit and they hang on you, double check the threads that are used for the screw, the shoes are tapered a bit to allow for the threads to come all the way through the plate, only my shoes didn't have enough taken out, the threads whee grinding into the shoe causing it to hange up, thanks for all the help everybody lol

Sorry, but NO. EPA is not a solution for the problem Infact reducing EPA would do nothing positive for the situation. The steering can still be pushed to full lock even if the EPA is reduced. Meaning if you rub a tube you are still going to have the same effect.

Mr Twister,

Thanks for the info. May have to pay closer attention to my clutch shoes.
