thanks duneland, do you or anyone else knows the part number for IDM compatible conrod for this engine, if it's compatible? just want to know my other choices. also, whenever the conrod is replaced, is it a must or preferable to change the piston pin and the spring thingy that holds the piston pin?
thanks

Yes, replacing the Wrist pin and clips are recommended when replacing the connecting rod.

Has anyone ever notice circular scratches on the backplate of the P9? I noticed scratches which are also wearing away the black coating on the backplate. I asume that this is from the con-rod, yet the con-rod appears to be ok. I suspect that the bearings may have some play or should I not be concerned. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

That's normal. Nothing to worry about.

Just picked up a P9 Evo 2 and was wondering about the plug.
When I looked for plugs I noticed that the #7 plug comes in both a long body and a short body (at least from nova).
Can someone tell me the correct plugs I should order.
