WOW. Change or even the speculation of change sure seems to bring the worst out in some people. How about we stop the BS and get back to talking about the new truggy. If anyone wants to get any info on it they will have to go thru several posts of BS just to find out some info.

Now as for the truggy..... The body is definitely different. It will have a love it or hate it appeal to most.

I think the truck should be good. I am interested to see what they do with the shock setup. I actually am starting to like the new body. its something different. we have had the same fastback style truggy bodies since they came out. so I guess it was time for a new style. I love that the engine sticks out. lots of cooling plus I think it looks sick. As for the shocks I hope they use normal rears in the front and the new longer rears in the rear. lol. Kinda like what kyosho did(I think???). one of the complaints I have heard about the old truck was that it didn't have enough suspension travel. I never really had a problem with that but I have heard complaints from people.

Casey - what's up man? you running any electric? Billy said you had a good run going at the Arizona State race then broke. That stinks. give me a call sometime so we can chat a little.

I think that the 1.0 truck works better on some tracks then others. I think it is rare that the truck is bad, I think with the tracks we run on a little extra down travel would have helped ( I usually had my shock bottoms unscrewed as much as I could ), but I have also had the truck on tracks that the truck was super hooked up.

I'm super excited about the truck, I assume the photo doesn't have production springs on it the rear shocks collars are almost the whole way down and those rear shocks are super long.

The only issue I have is with the engine sticking out and lowering cooling temps to much, I run the GRP and it usually comes off the track under 180* so if the body lowers the temp 15* that kinda scares me that I'd be causing excessive wear on the engine. I realize I could lean it out to get more temp in the engine but outdoors the traction is a little low and inside the traction is way up but the track size is small. It's kinda like flying fighter jets in a auditorium.

I know I will be happy with mine. I never complained once about the zero offset wheels, I just wanted to know what the plan was before I bought more tires. Lighten up, before all the internet tough guys start lining up to fight. You guys do realize you are arguing over toys right?

wow you really don't quit do you. lol.

But anyway. I would have liked to see lightened outdrives and spur standard. but since the 2.0 buggy doesn't come with them I don't see it happening.

Hope I can still use my khz extended mount. Really cuts down on flex in the spur/cb area. saves clutch bearings too.

i dont forsee it being an issue...the only problem persay would be that the mount isn't strait on the bottom...therefor can be a pain to line it up with the etched lines as opposed to the stock mount or Upgraded losi mount which are basically a strait edge to line up on.

Yeah I'm not really woried about the etched lines. I was thinking more of wether the distance from the mount to the tank mount is the same. if they extended that at all the khz mount would not work. I have always been pretty good at eye balling it to get the engine straight. I just flip the truck over and look at the bottom mounting screws to see if it is straight.

So how long is it going to take for you to figure out I DON't care what you or anyone else thinks.

There now you can focus on complaining about the truck and not me.
